The 1.3.0 update for Avowed is now live, and players can expect plenty of community-requested features, bug fixes, new customization options, and more. Several patches have been rolled out for Avowed following its February 13 release, with the developers at Obsidian Entertainment promising many more down the road.
Initially planned to be an online multiplayer title, Avowed later shifted into a story-heavy, single-player game, with a teaser trailer shown to audiences during a showcase in July 2020. The game takes place in the Living Lands in the world of Eora, and players are tasked with investigating a mysterious sickness known as the “Dream Scourge” as they use magic and physical attacks to take down monsters throughout the title’s many unique zones. Fans were eager to get their hands on the RPG, which was planned to release in 2024. Avowed was later delayed until February 2025, but since its release, the development team has been hard at work polishing the title, slowly making it even more enjoyable for players.
