Hunters are wanted in Red Dead Redemption 2 to fulfill some taxidermy requests from Ms. L. Hobbs in exchange for rewards and a more skilled hand when it comes to hunting. There are a total of 5 Hunting Requests to complete in Red Dead Redemption 2, each of them provides a unique challenge for players to conquer when it comes to new animals to hunt, as requested.

With 5 Hunting Requests and 19 perfect animal carcasses needed, players can find everything they need to complete this side mission in Red Dead Redemption 2, along with where to find each Hunting Request, animal, and weapon to use for the perfect condition pelt.
All animals required from the Hunting Requests must be in perfect condition, meaning they have been shot with the right weapon to provide a clean kill on a 3-star animal.
Hunting Request #1
The first Hunting Request can be found in the Valentine Post Office, just after starting Chapter 2. This Hunting Request is hanging from the post board inside the Valentine Train Station, and it requires players to collect a Perfect Rabbit Carcass and a Perfect Squirrel, listed below will be the best places to find a rabbit and a squirrel, along with the weapons needed:

The Carcass is needed, not the Pelt, so don’t skin the rabbit. Instead, stow it on your horse, take it to a Post Office, and select the send mail option.
Hunting Request #2
After waiting one in-game day, players can collect their mail from the Post Office after they sent the carcasses to Ms. L. Hobbs. On top of receiving $50, players will now have a new request that contains 3 small animals that are needed, once again in perfect condition. The animals needed are the Cardinal, Rat, and Woodpecker, and each can be found below:

Hunting Request #3
After handing in the animals necessary for Hunting Request #2, players will receive mail a day later with their reward along with the third Hunting Request, which details a further 4 animals that must be hunted. Players need to hunt the following: Chipmunk, Opossum, Oriole, Robin, and each of them can be found below:

With the third Hunting Request now handed in with payment received, players will have access to Hunting Request #4, which details a total of 5 perfect carcasses that must be sent over. Hunting Request #5 is the final Hunting Request, but it is not available until the Epilogue, meaning players must complete Chapter 6 in order to obtain this Hunting Request, which is found at the notice boards in Rhodes, Strawberry, Saint Denis, Van Horn, or Armadillo.

The fifth and final Hunting Request, obtained only during the Epilogue of Red Dead Redemption 2, will send players out once more to hunt for 5 animal carcasses: the Cedar Waxwing, Bat, Bluejay, Crow, and Beaver. Here’s the location of all Hunting Request #5 animals:

What Happens After Completing All Hunting Requests?
Once players have completed Hunting Requests #1 – #5, they will receive an Invitation from Ms. Hobbs where they will be given a Stranger Mission marker to head to the Taxidermist House in Strawberry. Inside, players will get to meet Ms. Hobbs herself, and will also receive the Squirrel Statue that they can place upon the mantle in Beecher’s Hope, much to Abigail’s dismay.
All Squirrel Statue Locations for It’s Art Achievement
Now that players have completed all Hunting Requests in Red Dead Redemption 2, they might want to go a step further and claim the It’s Art achievement. To do so, place the Squirrel Statue on the mantle at Beecher’s Hope and wait an in-game day for the statue to be moved. Players then need to find the Squirrel Statue, which will be in 6 spots in the following order:
After picking the Squirrel Statue back up, players will need to re-place it on the mantle and wait an in-game day for it to move again.
