Xbox Game Pass subscribers can now play Enter the Gungeon with their subscription, even if they are only signed up for the Standard tier. Nowadays, new Xbox Game Pass additions are spread across the service’s various tiers. Those signed up for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate are guaranteed to get everything, while the Standard tier subscribers often miss out on day one releases.
It’s been a busy month for Xbox Game Pass Standard subscribers so far. Things started off when Monster Train was added to Game Pass across Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and the Standard tier. Then, on March 5, Galacticare made its way to Game Pass Standard as well. The streak was broken when One Lonely Outpost was added to Game Pass on March 6, but it skipped Standard in favor of an Ultimate/PC Game Pass-only release.

New Xbox Game Pass Game Confirmed for May 28
Another game is confirmed for the Xbox Game Pass subscription service, with this one scheduled to arrive on May 28.
While Xbox Game Pass Standard subscribers missed out on One Lonely Outpost, they do have access to the latest addition to the service. Enter the Gungeon is now available on Xbox Game Pass through the Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Standard tiers. A bullet hell shoot ’em up dungeon crawler roguelike game, Enter the Gungeon was released in 2016 to mostly positive reviews. The game was especially well-received on Steam, with users on the platform gracing it with the coveted “Overwhelmingly Positive” rating. Game Pass subscribers looking for a co-op game to play may be especially interested in Enter the Gungeon.

Enter the Gungeon features local co-op play for up to two players, allowing a friend to hop in and join in on the bullet hell chaos. Those interested in playing Enter the Gungeon‘s co-op mode need to connect a second controller and then speak to The Cultist. Players need to do at least one run before Enter the Gungeon co-op becomes available, so those interested should keep that in mind.
In the meantime, there are more new Xbox Game Pass games coming this month for subscribers to check out. Shooter game Mullet Madjack is joining Game Pass on March 13, while March 18 will see the early access debut of online co-op game 33 Immortals. 33 Immortals attempts to recreate the feel of participating in MMORPG raids, and players will get to see if it succeeds through their Game Pass subscription. The second-half of March 2025 is still mostly a mystery when it comes to new Xbox Game Pass additions, though we do know that Atomfall will be joining the Game Pass library on March 27 as a day one game.
