One of the most difficult achievements to complete in Monster Hunter Wilds is the Explorer of the Eastlands, which tasks players with finding 10 Rarity 6 Special Items. Most players, however, are left wondering what exactly a Rarity 6 Special Item is, and how to go about finding it, let alone 10 of them.
In fact, there are exactly eleven Rarity 6 Special Items in the game, and they can only be obtained during very specific seasons and times of day, things that the in-game tutorials will not mention. Here’s the breakdown.

There are eleven (11) Special Items of Rarity 6 in Monster Hunter Wilds. Players can check when—and if—an Emergence is about to occur in their game by opening the World Map, selecting a location, and checking the third page of its Environmental Overview. This page lists every current and upcoming event for that location, including Emergences.
If you don’t see an Emergence event on one map, select the others and check. Like this, you can basically check the entire World Map within seconds. If you do see an Emergence that is about to occur, you can gauge exactly how long you will have to wait for it to appear by using the timer scale at the top. This scale counts using real-life time, which means if an Emergence is set to occur in 60 minutes time, you will have to wait an hour.
Resting to pass the time resets all Events in the World, meaning this will not reduce the time needed to trigger an upcoming event, but instead spawn a new set of events. However, it can be used to change to the exact Seasons when an Emergence is supposed to occur in hopes of triggering it. If it does trigger, it will not take more than 20 minutes because of how seasons work.
How to Get Nightflower Pollen
Nightflower Pollen can only be found in Area 3 and Area 10 of the Windward Plains and Area 17 of the Scarlet Forest. However, the tricky part about this item is that it only spawns under a full moon. Details on how to trigger a full moon and collect Nightflower Pollen can be found here.
How to Get Queensbloom Pollen
Queensbloom Pollen can be collected from Queen Rafflesia plants in the Scarlet Forest during the seasons of Plenty. They only blossom during the Evening but remain interactable until the season changes. You can find Queen Rafflesia spawn location through the map filters.
How to Get Wyvernsprout
Wyvernsprout is a random spawn on rotted carcasses of Small or Large Monsters in MH Wilds. The easiest way to collect Wyvernsprout is to kill a bunch of small monsters and wait. After roughly 5 minutes, the prompt to carve them will change from Carcass to Rotten Carcass. If a Wyvernsprout spawns, a mushroom-like growth will appear on top of the body and the interaction prompt will change to “Carrion Mushroom.” Interact with it to collect the Wyvernsprout.
