With the Shady trait, new interactions pop up. Sometimes, it pays to be Shady in business–and your Sims can use this to their benefit. We’ll break down the new trait and all it entails so you can use to to your advantage and create savvy business Sims, or a chaotic neighborhood menace.
What Is The Shady Trait?
Is your Sim shrewd and cunning? Shady Sims love bending the rules in their favor and exploiting different situations for their benefit. Often, they’ll do this without second thought–especially at the expense of other Sims around them.
Mischief is their cup of tea, and they can influence other Sims to embrace this lifestyle and throw shade. Additionally, they unlock the Rizz Up flirtation interaction.
Shady Sims will take pleasure in mischievous activities, like throwing Shade and pickpocketing other sims.
In regard to running a business, Shady Sims will benefit more from the dodgy business perks skill tree. They’re not looking to build a lasting family legacy, they want to have the best deals for themselves with the least amount of effort put in.
Having grey morals means that the world has more business opportunities for your Sim. They can manipulate others into purchasing goods, fake payments for bills and employees, outright steal objects from other businesses, “accidentally” start fires, and more with the corresponding business traits.
For the ultimate chaotic Sim, the Shady Trait is a must. They’ll scheme to build the best business in town no matter what it takes, and they’ll cause a good bit of mayhem in the process.
