After It Takes Two was confirmed to have sold over 20 million copies to date, it remains to be seen whether Split Fiction can replicate that huge success, but its early performance on the UK’s physical chart is certainly encouraging.
The game has debuted at number one, with 89 per cent of those physical copies being the PS5 version. Its predecessor proves that there’s an appetite for this type of high-octane co-op experience, so while it isn’t a direct It Takes Two sequel, we imagine it’ll do very well for itself throughout 2025.
