As one of the first F2P Agents in Zenless Zone Zero, it’s natural for everyone to know who Anby is. She’s a member of the Cunning Hares faction, a group of Hollow Raiders led by Nicole. However, not many know about Anby’s past, like how Nicole found her as her “treasure,” or that she’s not even entirely human to begin with.
As Anby’s past is unraveled, players will also witness the “original” form of Anby; “Silver Soldier Anby” or “Soldier 0 – Anby.” This backstory will also explain how Anby is so well-versed in combat as she introduces the Aftershock effect to the game. Sanby embraces her old identity as Silver Soldier Anby, meaning Soldier 0 – Anby build in ZZZ is completely different than the A-Rank Anby Proxies are familiar with.

Soldier 0 Anby Best Drive Discs In ZZZ – Zenless Zone Zero
5-star Anby heavily relies on her Aftershock mechanics, so the Shadow Harmony is the best Drive Disc set for Silver Soldier Anby in Zenless Zone Zero. The 2 pieces’ effect increases Anby’s Aftershock and Dash Attacks DMG, while the 4 pieces’ passive effect gives her extra ATK% and Crit Rate, which is very important for her build. You can also build Anby with Woodpecker Electro; it grants her a small amount of Crit Rate alongside different stacks of ATK% as long as she’s on the field meeting the conditions. It is useful for her, but not as much as Shadow Harmony.
As for the two pieces that will go with Shadow Harmony, always build Soldier 0 Anby with Branch & Blade Song because of its extra Crit DMG stat. Anby really needs that Crit DMG and no other Drive Discs can give her this amount.
As for the stats, Anby’s Aftershock DMG scales with her Crit DMG, which is why it’s important to build her with as much Crit DMG as possible. However, it’s also important to provide enough Crit Rate for her from different sources so she can have a balance between the two Crits. Build 5-star Anby with Crit DMG on 4-slot (or Crit Rate if necessary), Electric DMG on 5-slot, and ATK% on 6-slot. Try to get some Crit Rate from the Drive Discs’ sub-stats and also focus on Crit DMG and ATK% to increase her important stats.
Soldier 0 Anby Best W-Engines In ZZZ – Zenless Zone Zero
Starting from the best W-Engine for 5-star Anby in Zenless Zone Zero, there’s no doubt, is Severed Innocence. Sanby becomes a top-tier unit in Zenless Zone Zero when using her signature weapon as it grants her an insane amount of Crit DMG that can go above 100%. It also synergizes with her Aftershock gameplay and increases her Electric DMG.
Heartstring Nocturne and Riot Suppressor Mark VI are great stat W-Engines for Soldier 0 Anby in Zenless Zone Zero. They give Anby a lot of Crit Rate and Crit DMG, but other than that, she doesn’t really benefit from the rest of their effects. On the other hand, Zanshin Herb Case also grants Silver Soldier Anby a decent amount of Crit value that can increase if she has a character on her team that is good at triggering Anomalies.
As for 4-star W-Engines, go for Drill Rig – Red Axis as it massively increases Anby’s Basic and Dash Attacks by up to 80%. The 50% Energy Regen is not ideal for her, but it allows her to cast her EX Special Attack more often, which is where most of Anby’s DPS comes from. Marcato Desire is a very close 4-star W-Engine that works for 5-star Anby in Zenless Zone Zero. It grants her a decent amount of Crit Rate from its advanced stat alongside an ATK% buff if the conditions are met during combat.
