The Icon series is maybe the most exciting out of Fortnite’s different ranges, and it’s getting a new inclusion with the Shohei Ohtani Fortnite skin. A brand-new icon makes his way to Fortnite this week. It’s another sports star joining the ranks, but the first time we’re getting a baseball player included. It’s a particularly interesting design too, with a Samurai look for them in the second style.
The new Icon Series skin is our first in a little while. We’ve already seen the Icon Series skins expand to include Fortnite streamers. And Musicians, particularly those from Festival. And sports stars. With people like Harry Kane having already gotten their own looks in the game. Shohei Ohtani is coming soon though. When will he release in-game and what items are coming with them?

The next Icon Series skin has been revealed as Shohei Ohtani, the baseball player. He’s coming with quite a few different styles. These are the sets that will release when he comes to the Fortnite Item Shop this week:
- Shohei Ohtani Outfit – With home style, and away style
- Decoy Backbling
- Trusty Two-Way Pickaxe
That’s the first set which is based on Shohei Ohtani’s normal baseball outfit. There’s two color schemes in this one for home and away. However, there’s also emotes coming, and a second style which reimagines him as a Samurai:
- Samurai Shohei Outfit
- Samurai Screamer Back Bling
- Baseball Batana Pickaxe
These are the emotes which are being added to the game alongside those two. Both are Baseball emotes, great for fans of the sport. Especially since there’s a bat in the Fortnite weapons pool for this season too.
- Doggy Dingers
- Hey Batter Batter
