The pattern of the wood carving almost makes Archen look like Porygon in shape, and it’s clear from the immaculate sculpturing that the artist spent some amount of time bringing the bird to life.

Redditors praised the artist’s precise carving and pristine paintwork, preceding the demand from fans for the artist to consider opening an Etsy storefront to sell their creations. Even Pokemon fans who expressed they were not a fan of Archen admitted how cute the creation was, and some even viewed the carving as some sort of lucky totem they’d love to carry around for protection.
Archen is categorized as a Rock/Flying Fossil Pokemon and revived from a Plume Fossil. Archen is one of the rarest Pokemon to encounter, especially in Pokemon GO, considering the creature is extinct in Pokemon lore, and the community is doing their bit to keep the bird alive through fan art as well.
