Sony has officially revealed all the new games coming to the Extra and Premium tiers of PlayStation Plus on Tuesday, March 18. The monthly free PlayStation Plus games are added on the first Tuesday of every month, while the new Extra and Premium games are added in the middle of every month.
The free PS Plus games for March 2025 are Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Sonic Colors: Ultimate, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection, giving subscribers significant bang for their buck. Dragon Age: The Veilguard is a relatively recent big-budget release, Sonic Colors is one of the better-received 3D Sonic games, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection gives players access to some of the best TMNT games ever made.

Out of all the new PS Plus Extra and Premium game additions for March 2025, a few really stand out from the pack. On the PS Plus Extra side of things, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is likely to be the best-received new additions. Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown reviews were mostly positive, with many praising the game as a successful Metroidvania-reinvention of the Prince of Persia IP. Acclaimed for its challenging combat and rewarding exploration, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown should make a fine addition to the PS Plus Extra lineup. As far as the new PS Plus Premium games go, the original Armored Core PS1 games should prove to be a fun trip down memory lane.
I would also like to highlight the addition of Bang-On Balls: Chronicles. While it may be fairly obscure compared to the other new PS Plus Extra and Premium games for March 2025, Bang-On Balls: Chronicles is a fun co-op experience, especially for fans of 3D platformers. It’s an underrated game and hopefully it being a part of the PS Plus lineup for March 2025 means a lot more people will get to try it for themselves.
