How To Unlock New Game Plus Mode in Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii
New Game Plus mode in Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii works similarly to most games. To unlock it, you must complete the main campaign—once the credits roll, NG+ becomes available. You don’t need to 100% your save file, just finish the main story. You can continue playing after the story is completed to collect anything you missed, but once NG+ begins, you’ll be locked out of the endgame.

What Carries Over to the New Game Plus Mode of Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii
Almost everything you acquired in your first playthrough carries over, so if you want to deal with less grinding in your second run, it’s best to collect as much as possible before you start a New Game Plus playthrough.
What Carries Over to New Game Plus:
- Money
- Outfits
- Reputation
- Unlocked Abilities (abilities that have not been unlocked will remain inaccessible until they’re unlocked in NG+)
- Majima’s Stats

What Doesn’t Carry Over to New Game Plus:
- Main story progress (New Game Plus is a restart of the campaign, so you will have to restart the story from the beginning).
- Substory progress resets, so you must complete them again, although any rewards you received from them will carry over.
- Treasury of Treasures collectibles won’t carry over, requiring you to find them again.
