Jaguar is one of the trickier Lancers to use in Fragpunk, but his overall utility is still useful even if you’re still learning how to use his various abilities. His Live Wire trap deals damage and slows enemies it ensnares, his trap cage highlights enemies within its boundaries who are on low HP or affected by his trap, and his detection utility allows you to see how many enemies are in front of Jaguar or on low HP.
We’ll take a look at all of Jaguar’s abilities and give a rundown on how to make the most of them during your games.

(Q) Live Wire – Jaguar places down a trap that deals damage and slows enemies. It deals damage quickly.
(E) Electric Avenue – Summons an electrical cage that blocks vision and triggers Jaguar’s I Can See For Miles ability.
(T) I Can See For Miles – While active, this ability displays how many enemies are directlly in front of Jaguar if they are on low health or affected by his abilities, either the trap or the cage.

How To Use Live Wire
Live Wire does a lot of damage and can be placed on the bottom of doorways to trap a door while enemies approach. Its radius is slightly smaller than some of the other traps in the game, so you’ll need to be careful where you place it.
Like all traps in Fragpunk, it can be destroyed by enemy players. Compared to some of the other Lancers, it has quite a short deploy time, which means it can be used during fights.
How To Use Electric Avenue And I Can See For Miles
The Electric Avenue and I Can See For Miles is Jaguar’s key combo. Jaguar can summon the cage and then press T to be able to see through the smoke. Enemy players are highlighted, as shown in the image above.
Electric Avenue will only summon a cage if it passes enemy players which means you’ll need to be pretty sure that you are sending it in the right direction before wasting this limited skill.
Because this combo is so important for Jaguar, you need to time it properly.
It’s best used while defending a bomb site, if you’re getting rushed by enemy players, or, alternatively, when you’re attacking a site and want to cause some disruption to open space for your team on the site.
