How To Get Decorations In Monster Hunter Wilds
The go-to method for getting decorations is by getting them as a reward for finishing a hunt or an investigation. As you progress through the game or the endgame content, you’ll get access to more difficult hunts and investigations, and the overall star difficulty of the quest you’re taking on will determine how many decorations you get. You can also get decorations every time you hunt a monster, though unless you’re taking on the strongest Apex monsters around, this won’t have a very high return.
How To Best Farm Decorations In Monster Hunter Wilds
When the game was first released, there was a way to easily farm Nightflower Pollen and get tons of Decorations with it. You can still get Nightflower Pollen
, just not as fast. Once you get Nightflower Pollen, take it to Sekka and trade it with her for a Gold Melding Ticket that can be taken to the Melding Pot to give you 1,200 points to be turned into decorations. This can be a tedious process, but the return on decorations can be very useful.
If farming Night Flower Pollen is too tedious, focus on leveling up your Hunter Rank and fighting the hardest monsters you can find. Once you reach Hunter Rank 40, you’ll be able to complete the investigation against a High Rank Arkveld, which gives the single highest amount of decorations from any one investigation. Either method above will give you a ton of random Decorations, and even a bunch of seemingly useless ones have some use.
When talking to Alma, one of the final options is to search for SOS flairs. You can then filter what kind of hunts you respond to, and filtering for higher-level hunters can help you easily get decorations and be helpful, as you’ll be jumping into fights partway through.
