Who doesn’t love a good heist?

Turns out that secret was a journal hidden in its petals, and it’s up to both of you to figure out how to open it. One key was obtained by beating Maui in fair competition and making the Beach Key, and now you’ve only got one more to obtain. It won’t be as simple or fun this time, though – there are schemes afoot.

How To Find The Pedestal Symbols

Player character talking to Elsa about a missing key in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

To access this quest, you’ll need to bring Jasmine back to the valley, reach Friendship Level seven, and complete her prior Friendship Quests from levels two and four, The Enchanted Flower and A Sandy Competition.

Start by speaking to Jasmine, and then find Elsa in your valley and talk to her next. Head to Elsa’s Cavern, and you’ll find the ice chest she spoke of on the other side of the bridge.

Talk to her again, then take a photo of both pedestals, and now you’ll need to head to the Frosted Heights and Sunlit Plateau so you can take pictures of ten different symbols, with five in each of the two locations.

All Frosted Heights Symbol Locations

The Frosted Heights symbols are all white snowflakes, and there are five of them to find. Three of them are separate, but the one by the river at the Forgotten’s Cave counts as two.

Symbol

Location

1

On the rock wall where the river leads into the cliff, to the left of the entrance to the Forgotten’s Cave.

2

3

On the rock wall next to the western entrance to the Forest of Valor.

4

On the rock wall above the mining node in the northeastern corner of the area, to the right of the entrance to the Forgotten’s Cave.

5

On the rock wall next to the waterfall leading down to the Forest of Valor.

All Sunlit Plateau Symbol Locations

The Sunlit Plateau symbols are white sun shapes, and there are also five of them to find.

Symbol

Location

1

On the back of the rock wall around the corner from the entrance, next to the large rib cage and spine.

2

On a pointy gray rock along the southeastern corner of the area.

3

On a purple rock in between two orange ones next to the western entrance to the Forgotten Lands.

4

On a rock along the edge of the oasis on the western side of the area, next to a large green plant.

5

On top of the rock archway next to the eastern entrance to the Forgotten Lands.

When you’ve taken photos of all the symbols, head back to Elsa’s Ice Cavern and you can open the chest next to the pedestals. Grab the Ice Key off the ground, then talk to Jasmine again. Go to Aladdin and Jasmine’s house next, and you’ll progress to the next step.

How To Find The Thief

Player character following a trail of Enchanted Flower Petals to the willow tree in the Glade of Trust in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Go to the Plaza and follow Jasmine to the Wishing Well at the center, then speak to her. She’ll lead you to the western exit of the Plaza, and you’ll find the first Enchanted Flower Petal on the ground at the top of the hill.

You’ll find the second Enchanted Flower Petal by the root arch at the entrance to the Glade of Trust, a third petal by the bridge to Mother Gothel’s house, and the fourth and final one directly in front of the door into the Giant Willow Tree.

Go inside and speak to Mother Gothel, then return to Jasmine and Aladdin’s house to return the Enchanted Flower to its rightful place. Interact with it and put the Ice Key inside, then pick up the Secret Journal from the ground. Speak to Jasmine one more time and you’ll complete the quest.
