At the start of Good Coffee, Great Coffee, you’ll only be able to make espressos. Once you get 100 XP, you’ll reach to Level 2. At this point, you’ll be able to purchase the Ice Cubes from the Ingredients page. You can access this through the Xpresso menu option (bottom-left corner) before starting the next level/day. The cost to unlock Ice Cubes is $20.00.

You should make it a habit of checking your Ingredients menu each time you level.

How to Make an Iced Americano in Good Coffee Great Coffee

Iced Americano Ingredients:

Espresso, Ice Cubes (x2 scoops), Cold Water

Type of Glass:

Shot glass (Espresso), tall glass (Iced Americano)

Once you have Ice Cubes, you’ll start receiving orders for an Iced Americano. An Iced Americano is just an espresso, ice, and cold water. It’s an easy recipe, so here’s what to do:

  1. Brew an espresso as you would normally.
  2. Scroll to the right side of your screen and grab a tall glass next to the water pitchers.
  3. Add two scoops of ice to the tall glass.
  4. Drag the espresso to the tall glass.
  5. Select the cold water pitcher (the one with the snowflake), and hold down over the glass until it’s full.
  6. Move the Iced Americano to the top of your screen to give to the customer.

You should always pay close attention to what your customer is ordering. The obvious difference between a regular Americano and an Iced Americano is one’s hot and one’s cold, so you’ll use hot water and cold water with ice respectively. However, you’ll also notice that hot and cold beverages use different glasses. Hot beverages use mugs; cold beverages use tall glasses.

If you accidentally make the drink in the wrong glass, you can trash it by dragging it to the bottom of your screen. Keep in mind that restarting costs you more ingredients. The coverage for all ingredients will come out of your paycheck/tip money at the end of your day/level. So, if you’re saving up for a coffee machine upgrade or cafe accessories, you’ll want to avoid having to start over.
