Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 – How to Complete All’s Fair

Having trouble with All’s Fair in Kingdom Come: Deliverance? Here are all the locations of the items you need to steal.

Henry will have to steal three different objects from certain locations, to forge a powerful protective charm for the wall that Parler is building. Players will have to procure a Lucky Horseshoe, the Holy Nails of a Martyr Saint, and the Commemorative Coin from a local tavern’s foundation.

Before proceeding with the quest, make sure to have at least one Quickfingers Potion, since there are several doors to open, and use Dark Light Clothes to improve your Noise and Visibility scores. Remember: The lower they are, the better. And most importantly: Don’t forget the Lockpicks.

How To Get The Holy Nails For Warding Off Evil

The Holy Nails are the hardest item to get in this quest, so we will start with this. Wait for midnight, and travel to the location indicated by the marker, and look for a two-story house with some stairs in the outside wall. Climb the stairs and pick the Easy lock on the door to access a residence with 7 occupants. That’s a lot of people sleeping there, so be extremely careful not to wake anyone.

If players are using clothes with low noise and visibility, they shouldn’t worry about it, and go straight for the ladder in the middle of the room. Climb it, and look for the altar that is on the floor above to pick the Holy Nails from there.

Now, carefully descend the ladder, making sure not to make any noise. And close the door when leaving, since there’s a slight chance that one of the occupants of the house wakes and call the guards if they see the door open.

Make sure to command Mutt to Stay! in some place away from the house. Mutt’s presence might alert nearby patrolling guards to the house Henry needs to break in, and this could end poorly for him.

How To Get The Found Horseshoe

This will be a relatively easy one to get unless players mess up the timing really badly and end up infiltrating the shop when some of the occupants are leaving the place.

They should be aiming for the first door in the tailor shop (on the ground level) and then turn to the left once they break in. Look above to spot the Horseshoe in the doorframe, and pick it up to complete this part of the Side Quest.

How To Get The Commemorative Coin

Travel to the Hanged Man Tavern (the one where Katherine gives players the quest The Fifth Commandment). There’s an underground cellar with an access door on the lower floor of the tavern. Take it, and go down the stairs. Once in the cellar look to the right and check the wall on the back of the deposit room.

There are some bricks that can be removed to reveal the location of the Commemorative Coin players need to steal. So, get digging and extract the coin from its hiding place.

Looking to win every Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2’s high-stakes dice game? The legendary Saint Antiochus’ Die is what you need. Here’s how to get it.

Once players have the three items they need, it will be time to take them to Johann’s construction site. But the problem is that Henry cannot just bring some famous protective charms to the city to the Architect. Everyone will know they were stolen. So, that’s where Henry’s blacksmithing skills come into play. It will be time to forge a new lucky charm: The Protective Axe.

How To Craft The Protective Axe For Johann Parler In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

If players are not familiar with the blacksmithing minigame, they should know that most of the outcomes when forging weapons depend on patience and rhythm. To forge the Protective Axe, players need to approach a Blacksmithing Bench (Anvil) and interact with it:

  • When the list of craftable items pops up, go to the Axes tab and select the Protective Axe from the list.
  • Now, the minigame will begin with heating the metal. Use the bellows to heat the metal 11 times, then go to the anvil and start hammering.
  • Pay attention to the rhythm and every 5 blows on all sides of the axe (lower part, middle part, and all three spots following the edge), then flip and repeat. If done correctly, players will be able to craft the axe in no time.

With the Protective Axe in their power, return to Johann Parler at the King Charles Tavern and deliver the item to complete Warding Off Evil.
