When you launch FragPunk for the first time, it asks you to choose a username. If you didn’t put much thought into it and just typed something random to jump into a match, don’t worry — you can change it. But how? That’s exactly what the guide below will explain.

How To Change Your Username in FragPunk

Navigating FragPunk’s UI and menus can be overwhelming, so don’t feel bad if you can’t figure out how to change your username. Unlike in many other games, renaming yourself in FragPunk requires a Rename Card. Fortunately, all players start with at least one in their inventory.

Primary Method to Change Your Username

Since you already have a Rename Card, follow these steps to change your username:

  1. Click on your username in the top-right corner of the screen.
  2. Go to the Basic tab (the first tab on the left).
  3. Click on the pen icon next to the page icon, which is located beside your name.
  4. Enter your new username and click Confirm.

Keep in mind that there is a seven-day cooldown for changing your username, meaning you won’t be able to update it again for a week.
