Gojo Satoru is quite easily one of the most skilled sorcerers in the world of Jujutsu Kaisen, and this is something that fans know already. The story made it quite clear that Gojo is a sorcerer on par with the likes of Sukuna and well worthy of claiming the Strongest title. With the immense power of the Limitless Cursed Technique, coupled with the Six Eyes, fans know that Gojo manages to reach a level that few can attain in the story.

Gojo also has one of the most powerful Domain Expansions of all time in the entire series, rivaled only by Sukuna’s very own. Even then, Gojo’s domain is far more dangerous, and most certainly a very powerful ability. His control over the domain is just as good, and quite easily one of the very best in the entire series, and he demonstrates that impeccably in the Shibuya Incident arc, where he shows enough skill to open his domain just for 0.2 seconds, paving the way for an absolutely incredible feat that few can replicate in the world of JJK.

Gojo Satoru is easily one of the very best users of Domain Expansion. Given that Gojo is the strongest, it is no surprise to know that he has a very powerful Domain Expansion that brings his Limitless Cursed technique to the utmost best level. Gojo first demonstrated his domain expansion, known as Unlimited Void, during this battle against Jogo very early into the story. At this point, fans didn’t quite understand the functioning of domains properly, but it became rather easy to understand it as he demonstrated it. Simply put, Unlimited Void sees Gojo’s manifest a void, or in other words, nothingness which is essentially the Limitless itself.

The target of the technique is inside the void alongside Gojo and it is here that unleashed his lethal power. The void itself resembles space and fans can easily see galaxies, different celestial bodies, black holes, and other things in this void, which just goes to show how massive and dangerous the Domain Expansion is. The workings of Unlimited Void is rather simple. It bombards the target’s brain with an unlimited amount of information and completely floods it. The information is so much that the target cannot comprehend it and their brain is fully fried, rendering them immobilized. Unlimited Void is a technique that essentially guarantees victory if it hits for a decent amount of time.
Unlimited Void works in a rather bizarre way in which the user’s brain simply is made to feel and not feel things at the same time. Comprehension itself becomes nearly impossible and the information that is bombarded at them comes infinitely from all sides, including their own past actions and just about everything else that they’ve done in their lives. The target just stands in the Void, unable to move, and slowly dying in the void under the immense pressure of all the information in the entire world. This Domain Expansion is rather ruthless and can destroy just about anyone. Jogo didn’t stand a chance in battle against Gojo when he used this power, and Sukuna knew to get hit with Unlimited Void in battle. For a short while that he got hit, his brain took too much damage, and had it not been for Megumi, Sukuna would most certainly have eventually lost if hit with this technique again.

Gojo Satoru is an extremely impressive user of Domain Expansion and fans already know this. His control over his cursed technique, barrier techniques, and just about everything else is topnotch, and he displays this to the utmost best during his short battle in Shibuya. When Gojo is surrounded by people and is forced to fight against the cursed spirits and transfigured humans, he realizes that he can’t let loose without killing people alongside.
In fact, Kenjaku himself was 99% sure that Gojo wouldn’t be able to cast his domain at all due to being surrounded by a ton of people who he couldn’t exclude from his domain expansion.
Apparently, 1000 transfigured humans who were released within BSF of the Fukutoshin Line would be annihilated in 299 seconds after the deactivation of the domain of the strongest sorcerer alive! — Narrator
For Gojo, beating the transfigured humans and the cursed spirits wasn’t an issue. However, the problem arose because of the bystanders. They would all die alongside the rest and so Gojo had to come up with a special plan. In what had never been seen before, Gojo activated a domain that he believed would be all-or-nothing. He activated his domain just for 0.2 seconds and this shows how he possessed immense control to open and close his domain in an incredibly short span of time, and prevent people around him from dying, yet also incapacitating the transfigured humans around him at the same time.

In the 0.2 seconds that Gojo used his domain, the information that everyone’s brain received was equal to 6 months. While they did suffer from this technique, being left completely unconscious, it gave Gojo enough time to activate to run through and destroy the 1000 transfigured humans in Shibuya, showcasing an immense feat of strength, speed, and above all, control over cursed energy and barrier techniques. Gojo destroyed the targets within 299 seconds, which is more than just impressive.
How Strong Is Gojo Satoru?
Gojo Is The Strongest Alongside Sukuna
It goes without saying that Gojo Satoru is an incredibly powerful sorcerer. Thanks to the immense effort that he put into honing his technique, Gojo became one of the strongest of all time, rivaled only by Sukuna. In the Final arc of Jujutsu Kaisen, fans saw Sukuna and Gojo clash, and this battle was extremely difficult for Gojo due to the King of Curses having not just his own powers but that of Megumi as well. Gojo ended up losing the battle, which was definitely needed for the plot, but overall, his level was no less than that of Sukuna.
Had there been no Ten Shadows and Megumi’s body, Sukuna would’ve suffered tremendously in the fight and possibly even lost. It is unfortunate that fans never got to see a fair fight between the two as it would’ve been absolutely incredible to witness. Regardless, Gojo’s usage of his power was truly impeccable and fans can only hope that the author delivers some one shots on him in the future that expand upon his character and lore even further, but whether or not that will happen remains to be seen.
