Fortnite Players Are Unhappy With the Game’s Vaults

Fortnite fans have come together to express their frustration with vaults, claiming that the rewards aren’t worth the effort required to open them. As part of its new season, Fortnite has brought back the fan-favorite character Midas, who may end up playing a major role in the game’s story.

Chapter 6 Season 2 of Fortnite is all about heists, which means gamers have more ways than ever to hunt down loot. Players looking for a challenge can attempt to break into a vault. Meanwhile, others might decide to target the train that travels across the map. Gamers may also encounter armored cars that randomly spawn throughout matches. However, all of these activities are optional, as fans can decide to land at any location and start searching through chests for gear.

Once gamers find thermite and plant it on the door, NPC enemies begin to flood the area. Fans must then balance fighting off bots and players while targeting the weak points on the door of the vault. All of this is usually topped off with a boss fight, which can be quite a challenge if gamers don’t have proper weaponry.

Fortnite Players Want to Receive More Loot From Vaults

Once inside, players are rewarded with gold, a few rare chests, and Dill Bits. Many people have suggested that the loot is a bit of a letdown, especially when playing in a full group. However, these markets aren’t near vaults, meaning gamers need to move to another point of interest in the hopes of spending the currency. It’s a rather involved process that, while fun at first, seems to have lost its shine with the community as the season has matured.

Many fans were quick to mention the simplicity of vaults in previous seasons, which often contained similar loot. While the added effort may fit with the heist theme, some players think the rewards need to be increased dramatically.
