Diablo Immortal‘s plans for 2025 include the addition of a new character class, multiple new quests and zones, and some other upgraded features, according to a recently revealed roadmap for 2025. While there are still some secrets surrounding developers’ plans for Diablo Immortal later in the year, the first set of changes should be arriving before the end of March.
The Shattered Sanctuary expansion for Diablo Immortal was launched in the middle of December. Featuring new Helliquary bosses and the implementation of the Challenge Dungeon system, possibly the biggest highlight of that update was the zone it introduced, World’s Crown, a fittingly bleak hellscape punctuated by winding caverns and rivers of blood.

While the Tong-Shi’s Renewal event and the launch of a new Battle Pass have already occurred since the start of the year, there haven’t been any full expansions to the free-to-play game yet in 2025. But a roadmap revealed on March 12 on Diablo Immortal‘s official website shows that the next expansion is scheduled for launch before the end of the month. The first of four planned expansions for 2025, The Writhing Wilds will introduce some fun new features in Diablo Immortal‘s PvP scene, with the addition of a new map in Battlegrounds Mode and a Zone PvP update. The Writhing Wilds will also introduce a new crafting system and a new quest for players to undertake.

Scheduled for launch between April and June, the second expansion, titled Prince of Freedom, will add another new quest, as well as another round of Helliquary bosses, more gear, and an update to Wynton’s Grand Market that will allow for trading across multiple server clusters. But the third expansion, Flesh Harvest, set for arrival between July and September, may be the most exciting of all, with the announced addition of a new Diablo Immortal class. Blizzard and NetEase aren’t telling players just what this new class will be just yet, but they may be teasing something with an icon showing a deer’s head with a Celtic triskelion knot between its antlers, and the accompanying update text states that the class is tied into Epoch of Madness. The final update of the year is called The First & Last King and will launch sometime between October and the end of the year.
The recently released roadmap doesn’t reveal everything about Flesh Harvest and The First & Last King, obscuring the details of those two entries with some cleverly-placed roots. A second roadmap reveal is planned for later in the year to share more of what’s to come in the second half of 2025. However, each of these expansions should include a new Diablo Immortal quest and zone, as well as a summer event during Flesh Harvest and the return of the Hallow’s Wake event, which will likely arrive in October.
