How To Win A Bloodline Rules Match
These are the standard rules, but you can customize them like you can with most match types in the game.
The win conditions of a Bloodline Rules match are fairly simple: you win by pinning your opponent or making them submit. There are no count-outs or disqualifications, so there must be a definitive winner.
You may think this sounds like a traditional No Holds Barred match. If so, you’re right when it comes to the basic rules. This is because the uniqueness of the match isn’t found in the win conditions.
What Makes A Bloodline Rules Match Unique
In a Bloodline Rules match, you get access to a unique payback ability called Bloodline Run-In. With this ability, you can call an ally down to the ring during the match. It differs from the regular run-in payback because you can use it three times.
So you can call three of your buddies down to assist you. The same goes for your opponent. Therefore, you can end the match with up to eight people in and around the ring at once. They don’t just do a bit of damage and leave, either. They stay and fight by your side for the rest of the match.
You don’t directly pick who runs down to the ring. It’s based on a wrestler’s allies and their opponent’s rivals. You can change who these are by going into ‘edit superstars’ from the ‘roster’ tab.
Like with any payback, to use it, you need to have it equipped and build up your blue meter. The game isn’t shy about when it’s available, as you get a big prompt around your character’s feet that stays there until you use the payback.
When the match is over, you get a special cutscene with the winner and their allies. If the winner is someone like Roman Reigns or Solo Sikoa, they’re gifted the ceremonial Ula Fala and named the Tribal Chief.
