Every day, there are new cosmetics in the Fortnite Item Shop. There’s a daily rotation of items, although not everything leaves after one day. Plenty of skins and even full sections stay for multiple days at a time, especially if they’re collaborations. Every day still brings the chance to see something new, potentially something that hasn’t been in the shop in a long time. When exactly does that happen?

Here’s When the Fortnite Item Shop Changes Daily
The Fortnite Item Shop changes at a set time every single day. Between March 9 and November 1, at least because of Daylight Savings Time, that will happen at 8:00 pm EDT. Before the time shift, it was different, but that’s when new items will rotate in every night.
That translates to the following times in different time zones:
- 5:00 pm PDT
- 5:30 am IST
- 12:00 am GMT
- 9:00 am KST
- 1:00 am CET
- 11:00 am AEST
The Item Shop can bring back pretty much any item, so it’s always good to check it when it rotates. That rare skin that’s been absent for the last 1,345 days could come back at any moment. That now includes Battle Pass and other formerly exclusive skins. Old battle passes, like the Chapter 3 Season 1 one, will never come back, but after Chapter 5 Season 3, all battle pass items can come back. Some already have.
That includes Festival Pass skins, too. The Weeknd skin that was formerly a Festival Pass reward landed in the Item Shop recently. Some that were tied to quests eventually made it back. The Shop can be full of items that you missed out on, and it can have plenty of rare cosmetics. As such, it’s always a good idea to check the rotation daily, as you never know what might come up.
The time doesn’t change for the rotation, but the time in Eastern Time will. On November 1, the cycle will shift back an hour, so it will begin occurring at 7:00 pm EST at that time. That doesn’t change much for the other time zones, just the ones that observe Daylight Savings.
