Out of all the new modes added to Fortnite in Chapter 5, Lego has been the biggest success. A Minecraft-inspired world, it’s tons of fun to roam around and explore in. However, a sandbox game like this is only really as good as the options you have to play with. That’s where the Lego Fortnite patch notes come in. There are updates coming all the time for this mode along with the newly added Fortnite Brick Life.
The normal Fortnite patch notes can be fun new items, but also items getting vaulted or even nerfed. Over in Lego Fortnite though, updates only mean one thing; you’ve got new toys to play with. Each update expands the world out. Adding things like vehicles, launchpads, farming, and even Star Wars. These are the latest Lego Fortnite patch notes if you want to jump back in and see what’s changed with the game.
Lego Fortnite Patch Notes
Brick Life

Fortnite Brick life
A couple of big Lego Fortnite updates are coming this month! Our first since the addition of Brick Life. Both major Lego modes are getting fresh content throughout this month. What exactly is going to change? There’s a new Lego Pass, but also some major additions to gameplay.
Soccer Comes in Lego Fortnite Update

Source: Epic
The newest addition to Lego Fortnite is football gameplay, or as Epic is calling it… soccer.
Players can get involved in football matches all around the map in Brick Life. You’ll be able to play a game with only a 90 second time limit. With them being decided by who scores the most goals. 90 seconds isn’t long enough for a full team game, so this little change simplifies things. Winners get a trophy and 1,000 creds.
Homes
A new change is here for those who like to role play in Brick Life with homes. Players can now leave a reaction at homes. By going to a mailbox and selecting your reaction, you can show off how you feel about another player’s home.

Source: Epic
A big change in the Lego Fortnite update is a mail system. If you run out of inventory space, you can now use mail to send items back to your mailbox. Helpful if you run out of space.
Lego Odyssey Updates
The next part of the Lego Fortnite updates is to the original Lego mode. The Lego Odyssey mode, or Lego Fortnite as it used to be known, is still getting some updates. A new Recycler Station is arriving. Which lets people transform unused items back into the materials you spent to craft them.

Source: Epic
There’s also been an improvement to Wall Mounts. These can now have any items attached. A new sprint attack has been added too, along with an animation change to Jump Attacks. These new mobility options update the game in-line with more recent Battle Royale additions like Ledge Jump, but to fit Lego Fortnite’s needs.
There’s been some other minor additions too. Like changes to NPC’s dialogue, a storm escape teleport system to deal with a bug, and shield being applied to players faster.
New Lego Pass

Source: Epic
A recent change to Fortnite as a whole has been the shit to different passes for different modes, all collected in the Fortnite Crew subscription. The Lego Pass is being updated in March, with the Goldrush Gallery Lego Pass.
This pass features a new version of the Oro character, Rebel Oro. He’s a particularly fun Fortnite character and it’s great to see this new version arrive. There’s also a second skin, the Carmine Rosso outfit. As with any skin, it isn’t just a Lego version you’re getting. Players can use the skin in normal modes like Battle Royale too.
Fortnitemares Arrives in Lego Fortnite
A new Lego Fortnite Patch notes arriving this week with the launch of Fortnitemares 2024. We’ve got some great Halloween content to use in the worlds of Lego Fortnite, but also some general improvements to the game. This is what’s changed at the moment:
Split Screen

Lego Fortnite is getting split screen! The game mode will soon be able to be played with two players on a single device. Fortnite split screen will only work on PlayStation. And Xbox consoles though, not PC, Switch, or Mobile.
Lego Fortnite Event Pass

Source: Epic
If you’re looking for more skins and Lego sets to spice up your gameplay, then the Lego Fortnite event pass will be a great pick. This is a new pass with a premium and free tier, available to players over the course of Fortnitemares. There are quite a few impressive builds on this new pass.
Lego Fortnite Update – Lost Isles Launches
A new phase for Lego Fortnite is here! The latest patch notes have added one of our bigger expansions yet, the Lego Fortnite Lost Isles. What’s new? These are all of the changes you can find in the latest version of Lego Fortnite:
Lost Isles

Source: Epic
When you jump into the new Lego Fortnite update, you’ll have to head straight to the bus route to explore something new. The Battle Bus Stations can transport you to a new area called the Lost Isles. This is a new world which will feature five different new biomes. These are:
- Beach
- Plains
- Jungle
- Mountains
- Floating
Each of these new Biome has new environments to explore. There are different features like NPCs, the return of Klombo and unique buildings. It’s all pretty different from the standard world.
New Items

Source: Epic
When a new update hits in Battle Royale, the new items are usually the most exciting. Things are typically different for Lego though. However, the Lego Fortnite update is introducing a good number of new items. These are some of the new items you can find in the new biomes:
- Pirate Musket
- Flint-Knock Pistol
- Boom Shield
- Throwing Spears
- Explorer’s Machete
- Knockback Shield
- Runes
Klombos and Creatures

Source: Epic
Along with new NPCs like the Peely tribe, the new worlds have a whole bunch of fresh creatures too. The most exciting is Klombo.
If you’re a more recent convert to the Fortnite player base you might not remember Klombo. He was a giant dinosaur who roamed around the Battle Royale map in Chapter 3. He was a cool mascot for the game, but didn’t do anything much in function. It was probably that he was so pointless in-game that he became so beloved. It was always fun watching him randomly stumble into a sweaty build fight, demolishing everything by mistake and then just staring blankly ahead.
He’s back, in Lego Form! New Klombos will be found around the map in Lego Fortnite now. Along with other new creatures like Golems. There’s also different foods that can be collected.
New Lego Pass

Source: Epic
To celebrate five new biomes getting added to the game, there is a Lego Pass for players to go through. This includes a new tribal Peely skin. Definitely worth collecting, even if as a Pass reward he probably isn’t the rarest Fortnite skin right now.

Lego Fortnite V30.10
The new Lego Fortnite patch notes are here! Another new expansion for the game’s worlds. This includes the addition of a brand-new game mode and difficulty settings, somewhere between survival and creative we’ve now got Cozy mode. This is how the new content in the game is going to work.
Cozy Mode
The big addition to the game with the latest patch is Cozy Mode and the new settings for worlds that are coming with. This is something that’s a bit rougher than Creative, with a little challenge but not quite the roughness of survival mode.

Source: Epic Games
There are some unique settings set up here to make the game a bit easier for players. These are the presets when you first generate a new Cozy game world.
- Enemies – On
- Enemy Difficulty – Easy
- Storm/Wild Enemies – Off
- Hunger – Off
- Temperature – Off
- Stamina – Off
- Player Elimination – Respawn
- Drop Inventory Upon Elimination – Off
- Friendly Creatures – On
- Friendly Damage – Off
- Villagers – On
- Power System – Off
- Village Animals Removed on Elimination – Off
These little changes should make the game less challenging than normal survival, without as many enemies. Plus, those that are here are easier to kill. However, there’s still a bit of a challenge compared to just building in Creative. You’ll still need to grind resources to do things like make glass in Lego Fortnite, but you’ll have less trouble.
These presets include some brand-new settings too. That’s facilitated another new mode, Expert.
Expert Survival Mode

Source: Epic Games
A new difficulty has been added to Survival. Expect mode has a unique mechanic in the Storm. This is a roaming feature that infects enemies. Once infected, they’ll have more health, faster movement, and they’ll be able to deal more damage. This will make them a much tougher challenge. This new feature means you’ll have to be wary of your location at all times.
The other part of this mode’s challenge is perma-death. When you die in Expert mode, you’ll die for good. The only way to keep yourself in play is to carry a Totem of Return. This will make death something you can’t afford to do, at least not without sacrificing a valuable resource.
Grinding in Expert mode isn’t without its rewards though. Complete the challenges in this mode and you’ll be able to unlock some special Trophies you can build.

Lego Fortnite Star Wars Event Update
The most recent Lego Fortnite update is our biggest to date. It’s a Lego Fortnite Star Wars crossover. The franchise has crossed over with Battle Royale loads but this is the first year Lego has been here. These two franchises go together perfectly, so it’s no surprise Lego has been the focus this year.
There is loads to do in the new update. We’ve got a new Lego Fortnite Star Wars event pass to unlock free cosmetics. But also new permanent additions to the mode with features and weapons.
Rebel Villages
The Lego Fortnite Star Wars content comes in two sides, the Imperial and the Rebel. For the Rebels, you can build permanent additions to your world with new Rebel villages. These can contain tons of different buildings each themed after the Rebel Alliance. It can go up to Level 10 and grow quite substantially.

Source: Epic Games
These buildings won’t just be here for the event. Epic has made clear they’re a permanent addition.
Imperial Crash Landings
Imperial Star Destroys have crashed into the world of Lego Fortnite with the new patch notes. These crash sites are surrounded by camps that even feature enemies. You’ll have to scope them out using the new Macrobinocular item.

Source: Epic Games
These builds can be kept permanently too! If you prefer this type of design, they’ll be a part of your Lego world for as long as you choose to leave them there.
New Items and Weapons
Lightsabers
Lego Fortnite patch notes so far have avoided realistic weaponry, but a nice fantasy lightsaber is a fine fit for the brick world. These are new items you can craft in different colors to defend yourself. Perfect against some of the tougher mobs introduced in the animals patch. These are Fortnite melee weapons available in Battle Royale and Lego.

Source: Epic Games
Blasters
There are multiple blasters in the newest update, the DL-44 and the E-11.
Bowcaster
This item is in the Battle Royale patch notes, but also in the world of Lego. It’s a weapon that launches an explosive round. It needs to be crafted.
Thermal Detonator
If you prefer to storm around the world just blowing stuff up, you can do that without breaking the Star Wars emersion. The Thermal Detonator is a new explosive added in the update.
Rebel Workbench

Source: Epic Games
The next new build is a fresh type of workbench. Put this together and you’ll be able to craft all of those Star Wars items. These will also work once the event is over.

Other Changes in Lego Fortnite V29.40 Patch Notes

Source: Epic Games
The new update is largely about Star Wars, but there’s more. Epic has made a number of quality of life improvements which will make the game all-round better to play. These are the changes:
- Quests – You can view quests without quitting to the lobby. At last!
- Flipped Vehicles – This whole problem has been fixed, major improvement to the vehicles.
- Bug Fixes
That’s everything so far in the Lego Fortnite patch notes. Over time this mode has grown to be something really special. If it continues to get these scale of updates (and Fortnite leaks indicate it will), Lego Fortnite is going to grow into something truly special.
