Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 continues the tale of adventure and excitement from the first game. Players explore Bohemia as Henry, a blacksmith’s son and nobleman’s page.

While the main story focuses on the country’s political war, players can do less dire side quests for rewards. Ill Repute is a side quest in Kuttenberg where Henry helps a bathhouse establish itself in the bustling town. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help KCD2 players complete Ill Repute.

How to Complete Ill Repute in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Players can only start Ill Repute if they complete the side quest A Good Scrub, where they help the owner, Betty, spread the word about her new bathhouse opening. After the bathhouse is open for a few days, they can return and ask her how things are going.

Betty tells Henry that the council is introducing a new tax on all the bathhouses in the city except for the Municipal Bathhouse, which they will vote on in a few days. Adam, a competing bathhouse owner, is good friends with one of the councillors so Betty is worried. However, she thinks they can sway Councillor Naaz to her side with a little sabotage.

This is where Henry comes in. Betty tells him to go to Adam’s Bathhouse and ask the girls working there about Naaz to figure out the best way to ruin Adam’s reputation with the councillor.

Ask the Bathhouse Wenches About Councillor Naaz

Players must visit Adam’s Bathhouse in Kuttenberg to get information he can use against Naaz, and talk to the following three bathhouse wenches:

• Meaty Mary
• Katchka
• Little Lida

Talk to Meaty Mary

Henry must pass a dialogue skill check or pay to get information from Meaty Mary. He can say the following options:

• VERY HARD “So you don’t know.” – Speech
• HARD “You can tell me.” – Impression

Mary will tell Henry that Naaz has a special cask of wine locked upstairs. She also lets slip that he is sensitive to herbs, particularly chamomile.

Talk to Katchka

Katchka will also need some convincing before she tells Henry about Naaz. Players can pay her to talk to convince her using the following dialogue options:

• HARD “Councillor naaz sent me.” – Impression
• HARD “Don’t make me angry!” – Domination

Impression is the nicer option, but either will get the job done. Katcha tells Henry that Naaz had a bath experience with fleas in his bath one time. He said if it ever happened again, Adam’s bathhouse would lose his business.

Talk to Little Lida

Little Lida is willing to talk to Henry if he buys her a “pretty dress.” She is specifically looking for a Noblewoman’s Cotchardie. Henry can buy or steal one from the tailors around Kuttenberg.

Little Lida tells Henry about a special fragrant oil that Naaz likes to use. Adam keeps it locked in his room because he is so protective of it.

Find Something Infested With Fleas

Henry can get information on the fleas by talking to beggars. Of course, many of them will be offended at Henry’s question. Eventually, players will find one that they can pay for information. There is a beggar encampment in Kuttenberg where he can find flea-invested cloth.

Pour Fleas into Councillor Naaz’s Clean Laundry

Players will find Naaz’s bath on the second floor of Adam’s bathhouse. Beautiful embroidered curtains surround it. Henry must have the flea-infested cloth in his inventory to pour the fleas into Naaz’s laundry.

Naaz’s clean laundry is in the basket and chest beside Naaz’s bathtub. Make sure none of the bathhouse workers are in the room while you sprinkle the fleas.

Pour Chamomile Brew into The Councillor’s Wine

Players will need Chamomile Brew for the next step. They can purchase some from the alchemist or brew the potion at an Alchemy Bench.

The Councillor’s Wine is on the second floor of Adam’s Bathouse through the locked door at the top of the staircase on the left. The lock is easy, but the bathhouse is consistently busy with workers going up and down the stairs. Additionally, Adam goes into the locked door throughout the day.

Players can sneak into the room late at night or time it to where they can unlock the door unseen. The lock is easy, so it won’t take much time if players have high lockpicking skills. The room has another set of stairs in the middle and several closed doors. Go through the first door on the right.

Naaz’s wine is inside the cask, propped up on a stand. Go up to it and pour in the chamomile brew.

Steal the Councillor’s Fragrant Oil

The councillor’s fragrant oil is locked inside Adam’s room. Return to the other room and take the stairs up to the attic.

Adam will walk into the area periodically, so be careful not to get caught trespassing.

Go inside the door directly behind the steps. Players will have to lockpick another easy lock.

Next, go through the door in the room into a back office area. There is a standing chest in the back of the room with a very easy lock. Henry will find the fragrant oil inside the chest.

With all the sabotage in place, Henry can sneak back out of the bathhouse, go to Betty, and let her know the deed is done.

Return to Betty

Now that Councillor Naaz is taken care of, Betty tells Henry he can also help her get Councillor Tuchmacher’s support. She’s heard rumors that he is in trouble with a noble and needs help.

Gain Councillor Tuchmacher’s Support

Henry can find Councillor Tuchmacher at his shop during its open hours. Henry needs to ask Tuchmacher about his troubles without mentioning Betty. When Tuchmacher asks why Henry cares so much, say, “There’s coin at stake.” Tuchmacher will explain that he has been challenged to a duel, and he needs someone to fight on his behalf.

The terms of the duel make this a challenge because Henry will only be allowed to wield a Hunting Sword, Mace, or Flail and can’t wear plate armor. These rules do not apply to his opponent.

Players should wear as much armor as possible without breaking the duel’s terms. Whenever ready, talk to Tuchmacher and go with him to the duel location.

Win the Duel for Tuchmacher

Henry must win the duel to get Tuchmacher’s support successfully. He can try and pass a VERY HARD persuasion check to even the playing field.

The best way to win the duel is to avoid taking any hits and be on the defense between strikes. After winning the duel, talk to Tuchmacher to complete the step. Henry can then go and tell Betty the good news.

Wait a Few Days for the Council to Meet

Henry and Betty must wait for the council to meet before the results are revealed. Players will get an updated journal entry when enough time has passed that says to go back to Betty.

Betty will tell Henry it worked, and the Kingfisher is now the Municipal Bathhouse in Kuttenberg. Henry will get free bathhouse services as a reward.
