After starting it, your main aim would be to disrupt Sigismund’s supply of quality sausages and feed the poor. However, it isn’t as easy as it may sound; it is one of the hardest side quests in the game, so here we will show you on how to complete it easily.
How To Start Feast For The Poor
If you have already completed Into The Underworld, then you may be aware of Chenyek. However, if you are not, he can be found at the Hole in the Wall Tavern, east of Kuttenberg City. You can start Into The Underworld first, as one of the objectives would be to ask Chenyek for the information.
After getting the information, you can trigger the Feast for the Poor. Choose these options to gain reputation with him: “Repentance”, “The commoners”, and “Wenceslas”. After that, he will tell you about the plan in detail.
How To Disrupt Sigismund’s Supply Of Quality Sausages
Before going over to the coordinates marked on your map, talk to Knuckles. He will call you, so approach him. Knuckles will ask you to steal the wine from the warehouse while you are performing the task for Chenyek. It is up to you whether you want to agree to this. We recommend agreeing to it.
After that, he will give you three lockpicks, one Quickfinger potion, and one Weak Nighthawk. Now, go to the location and ensure you wear an outfit that doesn’t make any noise.
Chenyek asked you to replace the sausages with cabbage, so you would need to buy it. You can buy it from the first grocer from the south. Just buying one would be sufficient.
If you have Mutt with you, then it is better to send him home or make him stay outside. If not, he will blow your cover, and the guards will try to kill you.
Skip the time until it’s night, and then ignore the main entrance. A guard will be standing there; he won’t always stand there, but it is better to go from the window on the right. Using that window, go inside and then drop down.
Before going outside, you can get five lockpicks from the sack behind you on the right. After that, exit through the door and go down. Travel straight and stick to the wall on your right. You will notice a building right in front of you, and on the left is a chest containing the wine Knuckles asked for. However, the chest is very difficult to lockpick, so it is better to grab the key.
If you don’t have high thievery skills, you can knock the guard out and then steal the keys.
Head inside the building in front of you, and you will notice a guard sitting on a bench. Steal the keys from the guard and then return to unlock the chest for Sigismund’s wine. After that, go inside the same warehouse again, and in the front, there will be a green tent; that is where the sausages are.
Make sure not to kill any guard in the warehouse, as it will automatically fail the quest.
Go to the right and wait until the guard in the front has moved. Now, go and hide behind the cart and wait for the guard to go back. Once done, head inside the green tent and unlock the chest with the keys you robbed. Replace the sausages with cabbage, as Chenyek asked you to perform a prank as well. You can ignore this as it is an optional task.
On the left of the chest, there is 100 Groschen in the sack, so make sure to get that. Also, on the right hand, you can steal a couple of chalices; these can be sold for a good sum.
How To Feed The Poor
Now that you have the sausages, it is time to feed the poor. You may have noticed quite a few beggars in Kuttenberg City. If you don’t know where they are, then use our directions in the list below; make sure you’re looking for the beggars during the day. Also, you can’t give them more than five sausages.
- First beggar: southeast of the E quest marker.
- Second beggar: north of the E quest marker above the first travel point (there are usually two beggars together).
- Third beggar: north of the second beggar’s location.
- Fourth beggar: can be located in the left lane of the second and third beggars’ location above the last grocer.
- Fifth beggar: Outside the Hole in the Wall Tavern.
You won’t really have to go to the fifth beggar location as the second one features two beggars. Also, if you can’t find the beggars easily, then there are a few near every fast travel point.
Once you have fed all the beggars, report back to Chenyek. Before talking to him, give the wine to Knuckles, who will be standing just outside the tavern. You can either give it to him for free, ask for a reward, or keep it for yourself.
If you ask for a reward, you will get 100 Groschen. Then, speak to Chenyek, and the quest will be over.
