How To Play The Pachirisu ex And Electivire Deck In Pokemon TCG Pocket

Pachirisu ex card is a weaker card compared to many other Pokemon that have high HP and damage in Pokemon TCG Pocket. However, that doesn’t mean that it’s an entirely useless card, as you can use it to your advantage by using the correct support cards in your deck. Pachirisu ex may not do much by itself, but it can become formidable with the right combination.

Exeggutor ex goes surprisingly well with Celebi ex. We explore how this deck works in Pokemon Pocket and what to keep in mind.

As Pachirisu ex doesn’t take long to get enough energies to attack, you can start damaging your opponent quickly. You may completely catch an opponent’s off-guard by defeating their strongest cards early. Electivire is also a powerhouse to add to this deck, as it a strong non-ex card making it less risky to lose points.

Most of the cards, such as Pachirisu ex, Electivire, Volkner, Dawn, and Giant Cape can be obtained by drawing from Spacetime Smackdown Dialga pack. We recommend using the Electabuzz from Spacetime Smackdown, but you can also use the Genetic Apex and Mythical Island variants.

If you don’t own enough Electivire cards, the Luxray cards act as a good substitute.

The Blue supporter cards can be obtained from the Mythical Island Pack. You can purchase Professor’s Research and Potion cards from the shop menu. Using any tool with Pachirisu ex will increase it’s attack. However, Giant Cape is more helpful as your Pachirisu ex gets more HP.

Pachirisu ex And Electivire Deck Strategy

The Pachirisu ex and Electivire deck works best if you go with an offensive mindset. Pachirisu ex requires only two Lightning Energy to attack, so even if it’s attack power low, you can start giving your opponent some trouble. If you equip any tool on Pachirisu, it will deal significant damage to easily crush any early card the opponent might be preparing.

You can use the Professor’s Research card to obtain the cards you want quickly.

You can use the Sabrina card to switch out the active Pokemon with the bench Pokemon if your opponent is attaching energies to them. While your Pachirisu is busy attacking, you should also start preparing your Electivire in your bench. The more Lightning energies you can attach to it, the better, as with two additional energies, it will deal more damage.

You should use Electabuzz charge attack to amass energy before you evolve it to Electivire. You can also transfer more energies from your discard pile using the Volkner card if your Pachirisu ex gets defeated. If your Pachirisu ex is on the bench, you can use the Dawn card to transfer energy.

Pachirisu ex is a frail card, so using the Potion card to increase its health and using the Blue card to decrease the damage received is helpful.

Deck Matchups

Pachirisu ex and Electivire ex work well against the water decks, including Starmie ex and Articuno ex decks. As these water decks are quick to prepare, you need to be fast to gather enough energy to attack. As these decks are weak to Lightning damage, you will get an additional damage bonus.

These decks may struggle against cards with high HP, such as Snorlax and Charizard ex. But these decks take some time to prepare, so you should start attacking as soon as you can before they prepare their cards. If they have a card ready to attack as an active Pokemon, you can use Sabrina to switch it out.
