Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 - Scribe Erazim Opus Magnum

Players can also visit the Miller and start Opus Magnum after they reach Necessary Evil. For this approach, they will still need to finish Materia Prima and Forbidden Fruit. They will skip the first half of the quest but will still need to find the book at Trosky for the Miller.

The Miller will suggest that Henry ask Scribe Erazim at Trosky Castle about the book. Erazim is usually inside the Scribe’s chamber in the Crone’s Tower. When players ask the scribe, he will send Henry on a wild goose chase to ask about a Noble named Nikvard, a character who had the book last. None of the people he tells Henry to ask will know Nikvard’s exact location, but they will give Henry enough hints to help him find the book.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 - Nikvard Location

Nikvard is lying dead outside of the castle walls on the west side of Trosky Castle. Players will find him right below one of the castle towers with a man standing next to his body. The book isn’t on his person; it is instead lying a few feet away, near the castle wall.

Henry must then take the book back to Miller Kreyzyl. Once Henry asks him the next steps, Kreyzyl will tell him to meet him at the Lair, where he will explain everything.

The Lair is south of the Mill and will be marked on the map. A cutscene will begin to play when Henry is close enough, and the side quest will end there. Upon completing Opus Magnum, players will be rewarded with the Recipe for Lead Shot Gunpowder
