In previous Monster Hunter games, quests were the core of the experience. You picked them up back at base, got yourself all prepped, did your hunt, and returned back home. Monster Hunter Wilds shifts that a bit, making the quests more dynamic so that every hunt feels more unique to you.

Here is every Promotional Event you can participate in to earn unique rewards for your Hunter in Monster Hunter Wilds!
That said, those more curated quests aren’t gone entirely. Event Quests return in Monster Hunter Wilds with a more hand-crafted approach and unique rewards. It can be a bit daunting to try come to terms with everything about them and how long they last, so let’s get in and see everything there is to event quests.
What Are Event Quests?
While the majority of hunts you will perform in Wilds are those you start from dynamic Field Surveys, there are still a large number of quests, though these are relatively simple hunts with no bells and whistles. Event Quests exist as hunts with more of a twist, offering unique rewards and circumstances. They might guarantee certain item drops, monsters of certain sizes, and so on.
The monsters present in these quests can be unique as well. For example, Kut-Ku Gone Cuckoo takes place in the Scarlet Forest with there being almost exclusively Yian Kut-Ku present in the world, and always in groups. These present to you a hunt with a unique challenge and rewards to fit it. It’s a fun way to spice up the otherwise mundance hunts you might get a bit too used to.
Are Event Quests Permanent?
With a name like ‘Event Quests’, that might make them seem like something limited, blink-and-you’ll-miss-it. And sadly, that is the case. As it stands at the moment, Event Quests last for a set period, and then disappear. This is in sharp contrast to the system used in Monster Hunter Rise and earlier games, where Event Quests were a permanent fixture.
Instead, it uses the system of Monster Hunter World, where Event Quests lasted a limited period. If Wilds follows in the footsteps of its predecessor, then these quests will eventually begin to cycle through again, though this does mean you have to be in the game at the right time to play certains quests. So get your calendar ready so you don’t miss the important ones.
Capcom does keep a live schedule for all of Wilds’ Event Quests on their own website if you want to keep as up-to-date as possible.
Every Event Quest And What It Gives
Every Event Quest comes with its own unique rewards and setting, though you don’t have forever to challenge them. Try your best to check them out when you get the chance, and see what each of them rewards below if you end up missing them.
