BC.Game beat Fnatic to win CCT Season 2 Europe Series 19

BC.Game have beaten Fnatic in a quick 2:0 series to win CCT Season 2 Europe Series 19. This win marks another important step in the progress for this team, who are arguably Tier 2’s best grinders at the moment. It also gives BC.Game a cool $22,000 in prize money, which is especially important in the hunt for VRS points.

BC.Game required just two maps to finish Fnatic off, with the latter only garnering 13 rounds in total across the series. They were totally outclassed on both Mirage and Train, with BC.Game leaning on IGL nexa to top the scoreboard in this one. We also saw the difference in AWPers in this series, with nawwk finding much more impact than Burmylov against his former team.

What’s most notable about this CCT Season 2 Europe Series 19 Playoffs win is the impact it has on the Valve Regional Standings. Prior to the match, BC.Game sat in 31st. Afterward, they’re 21st, a massive leap being their reward for victory. It might not be enough for invites to CS2 tournaments yet, but that could still change as they continue to grind.

Elsewhere on the CCT circuit, Season 2 Europe Series 20 is also underway. The Playoffs are set to get underway, although BC.Game aren’t taking part in that particular event. Runner’s up here have already been eliminated from Series 20.
