Visual Concepts has released yet another update for WWE 2K25, with players able to download it right now across all platforms. WWE 2K25 is technically in early access right now, with the game’s proper release not until March 14. Those willing to shell out cash for the more expensive versions of the game have been able to play since March 7, and there have been multiple updates released for the game since its early access launch.
The WWE 2K25 updates released so far have all been about addressing bugs in the game. While WWE 2K25 has earned mostly positive reviews and has been praised for being a relatively polished experience compared to past entries, it is certainly not without its technical hiccups. Luckily, Visual Concepts has been quick to release patches for the game to fix its various technical problems that have been discovered by the community.

WWE 2K25 fans are unlocking a surprising reference to AEW featuring a top performer from both promotions in this year’s MyRise campaign.
The latest WWE 2K25 update, Update 1.04, is now available to download across PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. The new WWE 2K25 update improves stability and performance in the game, fixes an issue where MyRISE won’t load, and fixes issues with the attires of Sensational Sherri and Shawn Michaels when they’re used as managers. The new update also fixes a problem with WarGames matches where the first entrants wouldn’t enter the ring, an issue where chain wrestling won’t trigger, and LED barricades not displaying appropriate damage. Problems with custom images have also been addressed.
Those improvements and bug fixes apply to all versions of WWE 2K25, but one element of the patch notes is specific to the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions of the game. The new WWE 2K25 update has fixed a problem with The Island where incorrect Superstar portraits were being displayed when starting matches. This is fairly minor in the grand scheme of things, but improvements and bug fixes like these are always appreciated.
As far as WWE 2K25‘s The Island goes, there are some more pressing concerns that fans may want addressed soon. The biggest issue is that it’s been discovered WWE 2K25 Island save files are local, meaning losing one’s character could be disastrous for those that have made purchases in the game mode. It’s unclear if this problem will be addressed in future updates, but fans should be careful with their Island save file in the meantime.
More substantial updates will come to WWE 2K25 down the road. Those that have purchased the season pass can look forward to plenty of new WWE 2K25 wrestlers added as DLC, for example.
