There have been a lot of theories about season 2 of The Last of Us leading up to this moment, and in just a few short weeks, fans will get to see how accurate these predictions are. The first season stayed pretty close to the original source material, but there were also some pretty significant tweaks. However, Abby won’t appear as bulked up in the show. While this change is controversial, it also teases that there are bound to be more deviations from the original story.
It’s unclear what changes will be made in The Last of Us season 2, but considering that Neil Druckmann and Craig Mazin have plans to adapt Part 2 into multiple seasons, diving deeper into points of lore feels like a given. As the show’s premiere draws closer, it will be intriguing to see what changes Druckmann and Mazin have up their sleeves. Right now, any shake-ups remain a mystery, but it’s bound to be just as memorable as Part 2 originally was.
