There are a lot of people who will remember this game as one of the better handheld Transformers games. Rather than featuring plenty of action on the Nintendo DS, this game opts for a different approach, as it uses and showcases plenty of puzzles within the gameplay.

Each Transformer has a different strength and ability, allowing players to feel like they’re controlling different characters, rather than reskins of the same one. Transformers Animated is a massively underrated version of the crew, resulting in a fun, adventurous game.

This entry is one of the more underappreciated ones on this list. Connecting with the film Transformers: Dark of the Moon, Rise of the Dark Spark instead offers a different storyline, tackling both ravaged and war-torn versions of Earth and Cybertron.

Most people point out the multiplayer limitations, which is fair, but they ignore how fantastic the game is on a visual level. Additionally, not enough credit goes into just how interesting the story of the game was, making it an entry that fans should definitely revisit.

The support for this fantastic mobile game came to an end, but recently, it returned to the land of the living thanks to Netflix. It was a thrilling little action RPG experience that any Transformers fan could have on the go.

The game had a grand story, plenty of missions, simple controls, multiple classes, and tons of characters. Fans of the series probably loved seeing just how many unique Transformers ended up in the game. Anyone who managed to play the game while it was live will know just how much fun it was.

This excellent entry in the series was followed up with the equally excellent Fall Of Cybertron, and both games shook up the world of Transformers games. Both featured sprawling stories and plenty of high-paced action.

War for Cybertron lets players experience stories from both the Decepticon and Autobot points of view, allowing you to come to grips with fluid controls and Cybertronian lore. Setting a title during the Transformers’ most famed and tragic war was a stroke of genius, and fans absolutely loved it.
