In the almost five years since it officially launched, Phasmophobia has come a long way. The co-op ghost hunting scare fest has changed a lot over the last few years, and even found its way over to consoles, too. The next 12 months and beyond are looking similarly busy, and today marks a big change for the game, as one of its oldest maps is getting a significant facelift.
As part of the Phasmophobia roadmap spread across 2025, the Bleasdale Farmhouse has undergone a huge rework. It’s one of the first – and most iconic – maps to come out of the multiplayer horror game, but it’s been in desperate need of a change. Kinetic Games hasn’t just given the farm visual improvements, though, because it now has a new layout, more areas to explore, and smaller adjustments.
With two floors, 21 rooms, and an attic, all of those frightful ghosts are going to have a lot of real estate to work with. The new dining room is bigger than ever, and has plenty of fragile items for ghosts to knock over. The living room, meanwhile, has a large fireplace, grand piano, and more. There’s also the all-new tea and trophy rooms.

The Farmhouse has new motion sensing exterior lights and a bead string door, both of which can be triggered by either players or ghosts. There’s also plenty of poltergeist interactables strewn about the property, like non-equipment fire sources (think campfires and candles), and lights that can be toggled with multiple switches.
If you step outside Bleasdale Farmhouse you’ll now find a new garden, with plenty of extra areas for ghosts to roam. Kinetic Games has essentially turned it into a brand new map, giving you plenty of new ways to gather evidence on the haunting spirits. You can find all the changes in the new patch notes here.
The Bleasdale Farmhouse rework is just the start of a big year for Phasmophobia, as Kinetic has a huge roadmap planned. Grafton Farmhouse is also getting a shakeup, and there is even an entirely new small map on the way, too. The Chronicle update is changing how the journal works while shifting how you capture evidence, which should smooth over the whole experience. 2026 will also be busy, with the arrival of the long-awaited ‘Horror 2.0’ update, house map reworks, and more.
The Phasmophobia Bleasdale Farmhouse rework is live in the game starting Monday March 10.
