The first season of FragPunk has five starter Lancers to pick from, and seven more which can be unlocked additionally. With only five Lancers to start with, you might be limited to playing a certain Lancer at the beginning if all others are already picked.

For this reason, we’ve compiled a few easy ways to get you started with unlocking your first Lancer, picking anyone from the current roster. Fortunately, every Lancer can be acquired for free, so you won’t need to drop any cash on them.
Login Rewards
Logging in every day will unlock a reward. On day two, the reward you get is a Lancer Statue, which you can use to unlock a Lancer.
If you happen to already have all the Lancers unlocked, and then pick up a Lancer Statue, don’t worry! The Lancer Statue will be recycled later in the game’s life cycle into 5,000 Gold.
In the lobby, on the right-hand side of the screen, you can find the Events section. If you’d like to check if the login reward is ready to be picked up, you can check which day you’re on in the Events tab. In the Hot Events tab, you’ll see your Login Rewards, and there you can check which rewards you’ve claimed.
Porcelain Hunting
Within the event, you get rewards based on the missions you do. Three missions unlock every day, and completing them gives you Porcelain Points, which advance the rewards tracker. Milestones are set for every 150 Points you earn, and one of these milestones happens to be a Lancer Statue at 1,200 Porcelain Points, which will take about four days to unlock.
The event is located on the right-hand side of your screen in the lobby, in the Events section. From there, you’ll see Porcelain Hunting as one of the available events.
There are two events tied to Porcelain; Porcelain Exchange and Porcelain Hunting. Porcelain Hunting is where you can get a Lancer Statue, among other rewards.
Mailbox
There is a letter you’ll find in your Mailbox, which gives you the exact amount of Gold required to buy a Lancer (18,888 Gold), alongside ten Curiosity Pop Cans.
If you aren’t aiming to spend Gold on fusing stickers, which cost 500 Gold per fusion, this is a nice way to unlock at least one Lancer on day one of playing the game. You’ll find the Mailbox in the bottom right corner in the lobby.
Direct Purchase
You can always purchase Lancers directly, either with Gold or FragPunk coins.
Each Lancer costs the same; 18,888 Gold, or 488 FragPunk Coins. If you’ve exhausted all the ways you can get free Lancer Statues, this is your only option.
Gold is acquired by doing missions, and otherwise, after every match, a small amount will be awarded to you based on your performance in the match, and if you have won or lost.
