Fortnite Brazil is going somewhere that most regions of Fortnite can’t get near, iOS! The version of Fortnite Mobile has been banned in most of the world for a long time. However, in recent years it has begun to make reappearances on certain regions. As more regulators take on the app store problem, there is increasing space for iOS players to jump back into Fortnite.
At first, it was Europe Fortnite iOS coming back. After a lengthy battle, the European Union nullified the entire disagreement between Apple and Epic, by forcing the phone company to accept third party marketplaces. Only in Europe though. Now Fortnite Brazil is following suit. With a recent regulatory change, it seems the game can come back to the platform soon. When can we expect it back in Fortnite Brazil and will more regions join?

Fortnite Brazil Gets iOS Version of Battle Royale Back
For a long time now, Fortnite has been largely unavailable on iOS. A disagreement over Apple’s share of revenue from Fortnite led to the game being pulled off the platform entirely. Then, a lengthy legal battle over third-party marketplaces on the platform. In the meantime, players hoping to still get into Mobile have had to use workarounds. Like using cloud streaming to play Fortnite. However, things have now changed in two regions.
The first was Europe, but as of this week, Fortnite Brazil also has no barriers stopping iOS from returning to the platform! Well, the regulatory battle is over this week. It’ll take a little longer for the game to actually return as the decision makes its way from headline to actually being in effect. With the court case against Apple wrapping up, they’re now free to get to work bringing Fortnite Brazil to iOS.
In a tweet on the Brazil Fortnite account, it’s been confirmed that iOS is coming back. It won’t be available fully until July though. That’s after the current Fortnite season ends. Although, once back it’ll be available for all future seasons.

It will be great to see more regions getting Fortnite iOS back. As time goes on, we could see most of the world ending up with the game playable on mobile devices again.
