Atomfall is a new survival-action game set in the aftermath of a disaster on the British Isles. Created by British video game company Rebellion, the developer behind titles such as Sniper Elite, Evil Genius, and many licensed 2000AD games, Atomfall lets you explore, scavenge, craft, barter and fight your way through a countryside ravaged by atomic warfare.

The game looks great, there’s a lot of excitement about it, and it’s arriving sooner rather than later. If you, like many, can’t wait to get your hands on this game, we’ve got all the information you could need. That includes the ever-important Atomfall release date – here’s the info:

Atomfall Release Date

Atomfall’s release date is March 27 . The game will release on all platforms on the same day. If you pre-purchase the game, which you can do now, you can get early access to the game on March 24, a full three days ahead of everyone else.

Platforms

Nowadays, console exclusives are less and less common and Atomfall is no exception. In fact, Atomfall will be released on more platforms than the average upcoming 2025 title. It will be released on PC on Steam, and will reportedly be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S. This makes it rare modern game on older systems.

Atomfall Trailer

The Atomfall trailer is especially exciting. It shows off the gameplay, the cinematic, and more. The trailer effectively sets the stage and harkens back to Fallout games – with a British twist. It seems to have a lot in common with that franchise, as it’s a little post-apocalyptic and players live in a settlement with walls. Much like those games, it seems to have some mystery at the core of the story as well as exploration aspects.

Details

Atomfall is an action survival game (similar to Fallout, though without the RPG elements). It is both developed and published by Rebellion Developments. The game is set in an alternate history. It was in the 1960s, when the Windscale nuclear disasters turned Northern England, the locale of the game, into a radioactive quarantine zone that forced settlers to stay inside.
