Monster Hunter Wilds‘ post-game gives players a lot of new upgrades to get and use. Completing the base game is really only the beginning of everything there is to do in the game, and a lot of the monsters you’ve still yet to face will be a lot stronger, meaning you’ll need all new gear.
Every monster in the game now has a High Rank version, that drops much better materials than their basic counterparts. Torrent Sac
are one of those very useful High Rank materials that are needed to make some of the better water weapons in the game; here’s where to get them.

Where To Get Torrent Sacs In Monster Hunter Wilds
Being a High Rank material, you’ll first have the finish the base game before you can get a Torrent Sac
. Once you begin the endgame content, most of the regions will open back up, and you can fight High Rank monsters for better loot, such as Torrent Sacs. They have a chance of dropping from the following monsters:
Unlike a lot of drops from monsters, Torrent Sacs aren’t obtained by destroying a specific body part and instead are a potential reward for killing the monster and completing the associated quest. You can also choose to use a Lucky Voucher when fighting one of these monsters and accepting the quest to almost guarantee a Torrent Sac to drop, if not multiple for only one kill.

Best Monster To Farm Torrent Sacs From In Monster Hunter Wilds
If you’re better at fighting one monster over the other, choose the one you’re best with. Otherwise, the much easier monster to fight between the two is the Balahara, and it also has a slightly higher chance of dropping a Torrent Sac. Balaharas are weak to Thunger damage and of course, specialize in water damage, so bring some resistance to counter it.
Uth Dunas aren’t necessarily that hard to fight, but being the Apex predator of a region, they have more tricks up their sleeves and, along with their armor, can lead to a more drawn-out fight than just a Balahara. Balaharas are also fairly common to find in the plains, making them also easier to find outside of doing an optional quest to begin a hunt for either monster. No matter which you choose, your goal is straightforward in killing the monster however you see fit.
