Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 really brings to life Trosky Castle and its surrounding region. If you head on over the region in the Czech Republic, you ‘ll even be able to see the real castle, the lake where Henry and the gang get ambushed, and even some of the surrounding towns. The developers have really paid attention to detail in this sequel.

There’s nothing as funny as being confidently wrong.

Walking around any of the castles in the game, you’ll see that they have all the makings of actual castles too. From moats and defences, inner courtyards, stables, armouries, kitchens and such. There are even outhouses a.k.a. toilets for soldiers and separate ones for lords near their chambers. Unfortunately, some fans are upset that they can’t use them.

Players Want The Ability To Use Outhouses In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Over on the game’s subreddit, where players are usually all praises for it, ColdApartment1766 joked that the game is unplayable because Henry couldn’t use the toilets. This prompted other players to comment with funny scenarios if this was actually possible. Others even suggested that it would be a unique saving mechanism, rather than the same old going to bed sequence.

“Could have been an interesting extra mechanic, even if it’s just some sort of short term buff,” suggested one comment. “You’ve relieved yourself of a great burden! +1 Vitality +1 Agility for 6 in-game hours.” Well, we all have gone to the loo and come out feeling lighter at least once.

“I’d love it, if it was a roll of the dice every time,” said another. “Things went smoothly: game saved. Diarrhea everywhere: 3 hours passes, pants soiled, game saved. Constipated: 3 hours passes, game doesn’t save.” It would definitely add to the medieval gruel that the game puts you through.

One player even mentioned that a hidden perk for going to the toilet would be that Henry could also make progress on any unfinished books in his inventory. This actually sounds interesting, as long as the game doesn’t make us work like in the forge or the alchemy station.

It only seems fair that we get to use these highly detailed features that the devs worked on so hard. Even from the outside, you can see the stains coming down from the outhouse. Definitely a missed opportunity there.
