Scrip Surplus, Caps-A-Plenty, & Gold Rush Weekends
Three Great Repeating Events To Help With The Grind
- Scrip Surplus Dates: March 6–10, May 8–12, June 12–16
- Caps-A-Plenty Dates: March 13–17, May 1–5, June 5–9
- Gold Rush Dates: April 10–14
Scrip Surplus, Caps-A-Plenty, and Gold Rush weekends happen relatively frequently. They offer a chance for players to stock up on certain currencies. While each one has its own use, most players tend to focus on Scrip Surplus as it means they are able to purchase plenty of Legendary Modules, which are crucial for crafting legendary weapons and armor pieces.
Players will want to keep note of these dates as it’s always a good idea to grind events and gather as many items as possible to sell and exchange when the events listed above are live.

Mothman Equinox Event
The Return Of The Mothman
The Mothman Equinox Event happens a few times each year. More often than not, Bethesda introduces new rewards for players to unlock during this event. It’s one of the more challenging limited-time events, as players will need to split up and protect three different areas at the same time.
While the event can be quite challenging, the rewards are worth the effort. Players who missed out on the last installment of the Mothman Equinox event will have another chance to grab all the rewards that they missed out on.

Ghoul Photo Mode Contest
A New Contest For Players To Take Part In
At the time of writing, not much is known about this contest. However, by the wording of the event, it looks like players will be taking photos of Ghouls and turning them over to Bethesda for the chance to receive unique rewards.

Even for players who aren’t planning on transforming their character into a Ghoul, Fallout 76’s Season 20 update still has plenty to look forward to.
The event itself comes shortly after the release of Ghoul builds. A lot of the content coming out over the upcoming months will center around the new Ghoul features. While there aren’t many concrete details about the event, if it involves taking photos of Ghouls, then the rewards are likely going to be Ghoul-themed.

Appalachian Outlaws Challenge Event
A Limited-Time Event That Will Give Players Unique Rewards
A few times each year, Bethesda releases limited-time events that don’t repeat. This means that players only have one chance to complete the challenges and earn the rewards. While not much is known about the challenges and rewards for the Appalachian Outlaws Challenge Event, the name suggests it will be some type of outlaw-themed event. Typically, these events are split into two sets of challenges, with each challenge set lasting for one week. Upon completing both sets of challenges, players will receive a unique reward. They’ll also gather various rewards as they complete the various objectives along the way.

The Big Bloom Event
A Flower-Themed Public Event
While things may change, according to the PTS (public test server), the Big Bloom event is a public event that takes place close to Susan’s Cabin on the edge of the Cranberry Bog region. The event will see players help Black-Eyed Susan gather flowers. While this may sound straightforward, just like all events in the game, there are some obstacles that players must overcome in order to complete the event successfully.
Players will be able to earn unique rewards throughout this event. Many event rewards have been datamined, but since nothing has been set in stone by Bethesda, it’s best to wait and see what rewards will be up for grabs during this event.
3
Invaders From Beyond Event
Fight Off Waves Of Alien Invaders For Some Otherworldly Rewards
Invaders From Beyond is an event that takes place a couple of times each year, during which players can take on seemingly endless waves of aliens at the top of every hour. This event is great for gaining XP, earning legendary items, and unlocking unique rewards.
Unlike events like Fasnacht Day, the event location for Invaders From Beyond changes frequently. This helps to add to the fun as players will need to take on these robots in various places dotted throughout post-war Appalachia.
2
Treasure Hunter Event
Hunt Down Mole Miners For Some Special Loot
- Dates: April 3–April 7, June 26–June 30
Similar to Spooky and Holiday Scorched, players will need to listen closely in order to hear any Treasure Hunter Mole Miners that might be roaming around. These special Mole Miners drop a legendary item upon death, in addition to Mole Miner Pails. These pails contain a handful of items such as aid items, junk, and more.
There’s also a small chance for players to receive a rare plan when opening a Mole Miner Pail. Players tend to grind these events hard, as they are perfect for obtaining large quantities of Scrip that can be saved for Scrip Surplus events.

Double Score & Double XP
Rank Up Much Faster Than Normal
- Double XP Dates: April 17–April 21
- Double Score Dates: April 3–April 7, May 22–May 26, June 20–June 24
Reaching rank 100 during a season is the ultimate goal for many players. While progression early on is fast, things soon slow down. To help speed things up, Bethesda has a total of three Double Score events to help players rank up a little faster.
As for the Double XP event, this is the ideal opportunity for players to level up and invest in perks. Also, because players can earn Score by gaining XP (up until rank 100), this event is ideal for those looking to get to rank 100 as fast as possible.
