Okay, so, Window may not be the most exciting recruit, but he can be a pain in the butt to recruit if you don’t know where to look, and even if he isn’t exciting himself, getting all 108 Stars of Destiny will yield the best ending, and provide you with a special recruit, so you’ll need to acquire this strange, strange man.
Where Window Is Located
You’ll find Window hanging out in the Warriors’ Village item shop. You won’t necessarily be able to recruit Window the moment you have access to the Warriors’ village. You’ll need to have a castle that is level 3, which means you’ll need to have recruited at least 45 characters. He’s perfectly happy to join your army, but he will need something from you first: The Window Orb.
Where To Find The Window Orb
The Window Crystal is located in the cave behind the Qlon Temple. You will have access to this cave once you have been told about the Star Dragon Sword during the Neclord section of the story. However, the orb is in a secret room, so it isn’t just a matter of opening up a treasure chest and handing the crystal over.
- To get to the chest, enter the Qlon cave, and walk straight.
- This will take you to a second room with a staircase leading down: head down those stairs.
- In the next room, walk to the southeast corner of the next room.
- This’ll take you to the fourth room, where there will be a treasure chest northeast of you. This is where the secret is. Head south, and walk into the wall. You’ll be able to walk through it. It is a straight shot to the hidden treasure chest.
Just grab the Window Orb, head to the Warriors’ Village, give it to Window, and he’ll join your cause!
What Does Window Do?
Once you recruit Window, he will allow you to customize your menus. This means changing the color, but also the borders. You can give him Window Sets to get more border options. There are four Window Sets in total…
