Zaton is a huge area in Stalker 2 and contains many hidden goodies saved up for explorers. However, exploring takes up a lot of time and sometimes stashes are easy to miss due to their placements.
To assist with that, we’ve created this detailed guide on where to find each stash in Zaton. Most of the stashes contain regular survival-related items, but some deliver more than expected.
Every Stash To Find In Zaton
Zaton has stashes spread across the whole map, and most of them are hidden in unexpected places. These are the stashes you can find in this region.
Izumrudne Broken Stage Stash
In Izumrudne, you’ll find a broken stage in the eastern part of the area. Go behind the stage and climb the stage roof to find a hole and drop down. Inside, you’ll find a blue stash in the corner of the room.
Railway Maintenance Facility Stash
At the Railway Maintenance Facility, you’ll find six towers that can be climbed using ladders. Use the concrete slabs to climb up the catwalk and jump across them to reach the easternmost walkway. Climb the water tower in the middle to find the stash. You’ll also find two grenades lying next to the stash as well.
Railway Maintenance Locked Tower
On the southwestern side of the Railway Maintenance Facility, you’ll find a small lookout tower with a locked keypad. The code can be found after climbing the aforementioned tower.
In case you didn’t figure it out, the code is 2468.
Enter the code in the keypad and the door will be unlocked to give you access to a safe stash, PSZ-5I Hawk armor, and many ammo crates.
Broken Train Bridge Stash
Make your way to the southwest of the Railway Maintenance Facility until you find a broken bridge at the end. You’ll meet an NPC named Darwin, you can either interact with him or proceed towards the stash.
The stash can be found on top of the bridge structure. Start climbing from the left part of the bridge and jump across the train to reach the right part of the bridge. Continue climbing up, and after reaching the top, start moving towards the end of the structure to find the stash.
Darwin will ask you to share the stash. He won’t do anything if you choose to share it. If you deny, he’ll get hostile and try to kill you.
Opachychi Stash
In Opachychi, you’ll find many broken and flooded houses. Go to the westernmost house in the area and climb the roof by using the crates. On reaching the top, jump to the other half of the broken house to find the stash along with Viper-5 SMG and supported ammunition.
Canning Factory Small Warehouse Stash
At the Canning Factory, you’ll find two stashes. The first one can be found in the smaller warehouse. Enter it and make your way to the back of the warehouse. You can do so by jumping over the shelves placed along the wall.
After reaching the end, you can find the stash on the top shelf. This stash contains a Protective Coating blueprint for SEVA-V Suit armor.
Canning Factory Large Warehouse Stash
The larger warehouse is full of anomalous fields, just throw bolts at them to proceed unharmed. At the back end of the warehouse, you’ll find a metal stair to get up the catwalk. Keep hurdling through the anomalous fields and, in the end, you’ll find a stash along with an M10 Gorgon SMG and Optician Gas Mask.
Stash Near Gas Station
On the northwest of the Gas Station, you’ll find two trucks protected by electrical anomalous fields. Climb the trucks and jump to the roof of the single-story building. You’ll find the stash there with an anti-radiation drug and Medkit.
Claw Stash
There is a location called Claw in northern Zaton, northeast of the Gas Station. There will be two caves visible to you here. You have to enter the cave which is well above ground level. Climb the rock claws and sprint jump into the cave. Inside you’ll find the stash and Fora-221 Assault Rifle with some supported ammunition.
Abandoned Cars Stash
At the southwest of Gas Station, you’ll find a cliff with some abandoned cars below. Find the way down, and you’ll find a car adjacent to the cliff. At the back of the car, you’ll find another stash with some Vodka.
Hydrodynamics Lab Stash
To the east of Zaton, you’ll find a massive area called Hydrodynamics Lab. There you’ll find a long white building. Use the cement slabs on the northern part of the building to climb up the roof. Climb the pipes, and you’ll find the stash at the far end of the roof.
If you want the next stash, climb down and find an entry point into the interior of the building.
While making your way inside, you’ll find some zombies. Kill them all and loot them. One of them will have a collar that has a code for the next locked stash.
The zombies are hard to fight, so make sure you’re stocked with healing items.
If you wish, you can skip killing the zombies, as the password is the same for all. We’ve provided the password for the next stash for your ease.
Hydrodynamics Lab Locked Stash
In the southwest part of the Hydrodynamics Lab, you’ll find a building with a huge chimney. To enter it, you’ll have to input the password 4824 on the keypad.
On entering, you’ll find the metal safe stash in the middle part of the building. This stash contains a GP-25 grenade launcher attachment for AKM-74S.
Hydrodynamics Lab Sewers Stash
At the eastern part of Hydrodynamics Lab, you’ll find a sewer entrance. Enter it and move through the pipes on the left side. Make your way through until you find a dead scientist. Again, look to the left, and you’ll find a stash beside the skeleton.
The pathway is hard to spot after entering, make sure to use your flashlight to make the traversal easier.
Lviv Stash
At the south of Hydrodynamics Lab, you’ll find a dock called Lviv. This will have a huge ship next to it, which contains the next stash. To find it, go to the end of the pier and board the ship through the red metal container. Go to the opposite end of the ship by climbing the walls. Keep heading straight until you ascend the stairs to reach the control center.
Break the barricades and crates blocking the way into the control center. Make your way inside, and you’ll find the stash with Marauder Suit armor and some healing items.
Ranger Station Stash
At the eastern part of the Ranger Station, you’ll find some containers. You’ll need to find a container with an open door. Access it by climbing the containers near it. Inside, you’ll find PSZ-5D Universal Protection armor and the stash.
Beware, as you’ll be hunted by an electronic anomaly, so keep some bolts and healing items in hand.
Repair Quay Stash
Repair Quay can be found in the southern part of Zaton. Go to the eastern part of the location and you’ll find a big crane. Climb the ladder and deal with the anomalies with bolts. After dealing with them, make your way up to the top and move to the left. Turn right immediately to find the stash.
Port Crane Stash
Go further south from Repair Quay to find the Port Crane location. Enter the big building with broken windows and big open doors to find the stash. But before doing so, you’ll need to kill some foes.
After doing that, climb the stairs and you’ll immediately find the stash. This stash contains a Return Mechanism Sleeve Tightener blueprint for VS Vintar.
