Where Is The Third Poacher In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

The world of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 comes with a vast outdoors teeming with plants and wildlife. Plenty of people make a livelihood out of the resources around, such as apothecaries using the growing herbs and huntsmen profiting from animals. Unfortunately, there are also poachers illegally hunting the wildlife and greatly affecting their numbers.

Vostatek is a gamekeeper you can meet north of Zhelejov Wagoner’s Inn. He is a well-regarded huntsman, though he is frequently drunk, and the forests near his home provide him plenty of game. Not long after meeting him, he will need your help in dealing with the poachers causing trouble near his territory.

How To Find The First Poacher

To begin the Bird of Prey quest, you need to speak to Vostatek at his home. If you haven’t met him yet, he’s likely to be lost in the forest. Complete the Lackey quest to find him and bring him safely home.

After some time, he will need help with the poachers nearby. He will want you to deal with them in a way that they will not return, so he wants you to either kill them or to send them to the bailiff in Troskowitz.

You have the option to spare the poacher, but the poaching problem will continue as a result.

The first poacher is across the water from the Nomad’s Camp, southwest of Vostatek’s home. You can see the poacher’s location highlighted in yellow on the map when you have the quest active in your journal.

The area is situated on a hill, and there is a ruined cottage at the base of the hill. Walk along the road until you see it. Go inside the building to see the items inside left by the poacher. There is a Rocktower Pond poacher’s kit next to the entrance, and you can use this to track the poacher’s location if you have Mutt with you.

From the ruined cottage, go towards the hill and look for a path leading upward. Follow the direction of the path until it splits in two directions. When it does, you’ll see a poacher’s camp to your right. The poacher can be found standing along the edge of the camp.

Speak to the poacher and choose how you’d like to deal with him.

If you send any of the poachers to the bailiff, they will be executed. Having them executed or killing them yourself is what Vostatek is after.

After dealing with the poacher, speak to Vostatek about the next one.

How To Find The Second Poacher

Vostatek will then send you off to the woodlands northwest of his home. Below this is where a tanner and a fisherman live. You can ask for information on the poacher from them, but the fisherman’s wife bears a grudge against the tanner and will attempt to turn you against him.

She will give you a hint about where to start in your search for the second poacher. Look for the outhouse on their property. Behind it is a path. This leads to the woods where the poacher’s camp is.

From the path behind the outhouse, take the path heading to the right until you see the point where it leads to the woods on your left. This will take you north, and you will find signs of poacher activity along the way.

Go straight through the woods until you reach a clearing which is a deer hunting spot. Keep heading north until you see an idol along the edge of the clearing. From there, head straight into the woods again and follow the signs of poacher activity hanging from the trees until you find the camp.

You may come across a path in the woods. Following the path towards the heart of the woods may lead you to the poacher’s camp.

Once you find the camp, the poacher may be away. You can wait for his return so you can confront him. Choose how you’d like to deal with the poacher, then return to Vostatek to receive a reward from him.

How To Find The Third Poacher

When you speak to Vostatek again he’ll recommend that you also help out the gamekeeper in Nebakov. This is an area in the south. Head there to meet Varel, the gamekeeper of that area.

He’ll ask for your help in dealing with the poacher in Slatego forest. This is southeast of Troskowitz and directly south of Apollonia. Varel will tell you about an unfinished cottage, and this is near the poacher’s camp.

A few meters south of the unfinished cottage, you’ll find an abandoned poacher’s camp. Inside a bag in the camp, you’ll find a poacher’s knife from Slatego.

You can use the knife to track the poacher’s location if you have Mutt.

If you don’t have Mutt, head west of the unfinished cottage until you reach the edge of the woods. You’ll find the poacher’s location there. Once you’re done, head back to Varel to give him a report of what you found.

How To Find The Fourth Poacher

Varel will ask you to find another poacher, this time in the woods around Semine Pond. This is west of his home. You can speak to Kreyzl in Lower Semine Mill for extra information that will help you find the poachers.

There will be three poachers in this next camp. They will be immediately hostile, so make sure you’re armed and ready to fight.

Kreyzl will direct you to his storehouse he calls The Lair. You can find it in the middle of the woods south of the pond. Once you find it, you can find the poacher’s camp south of that area. You will need to head up the hill to find the exact location.

Once you find the poacher’s camp, you will need to find three pieces of evidence of poaching activity. Deer remains and animal skin count as evidence, so keep an eye out for those.

While you’re looking for evidence, you may come across the bandits that are poaching in the area. Kill them all to successfully resolve Varel’s issue in this neck of the woods.

A bandit may attempt to run away when you attack the camp. Chase him down to meet Varel’s requirement. If you are unable to catch him, you can still speak to Varel and complete the mission.

Pick up the Lower Semine poacher’s kit found in the camp when you can. Once you deal with the poachers and find the evidence, return to Varel and tell him what you found.

How To Find The Fifth Poacher

Varel will then send you after a poacher operating in the forest north of Trosky castle. This area is in the Kopanina forests. From Trosky castle, follow the path that leads to the northwest. You’ll find a camp along the side of the path towards the woods. When the path reaches the mouth of the woods, you’ll see a shrine.

From the shrine, the path diverges. Take the path heading towards the north until you see a small clearing.

If this is hard to find, walk along the right side beyond the path. The area will be elevated, and you will find it easier to locate where a small entrance to a deeper section of the woods can be found.

In the clearing, there is a basket with some arrows and marigold as well as a path that will take you deeper into the woods. Head through but don’t go further.

Make a left and walk towards the north, hugging the cliff’s side as you do. You will then make it to the poacher’s camp. You will not have to fight the poacher, but you will need evidence that you dealt with him. The poacher will give you his equipment to present to Varel.

Telling Varel the truth will upset him and there won’t be any positive effects.

Return to Varel and show him the poacher’s equipment to convince him that you dealt with the problem. He’ll be grateful and will reward you for your efforts.
