After Two Point Museum, the Franchise May Want to Fill One Void
While the Two Point franchise may have tackled a bunch of different settings, there is one business that feels like the perfect fit for the series.
offers five types of museums for players to design and curate. The first one focuses on prehistory, and players can choose the order in which they complete the other four options: an Aquarium, a Supernatural haunted hotel, a Science Center, and a futuristic Space museum. However, not every layout used in the first museum will work for other locations. Some of the best layouts in Two Point Museum are specific to a theme, but others can be used in any of the museums.

Immersive Dinosaur Bones
Create A Lush Interior Space With Plenty Of Green Decor
- Use ancient bones to create a prehistoric-themed area.
The first museum that most players will encounter in Campaign mode is “Memento Mile,” and more experienced Curators who appreciate the Earth’s prehistoric period will likely choose it from the Sandbox menu. Not everything here is dinosaur bones; the related Expeditions will also yield figures frozen in ice and amber to cover more of prehistory’s best and most popular eras.
It’s not only profitable but also fun to dedicate a layout to fossils. One section can be for dinosaur bones, decorated with copious amounts of fauna and related tiles to exponentially improve Buzz and Knowledge generation. Don’t forget to add the dinosaur-themed interactive exhibit somewhere nearby to entertain the kids.

Chill With Frozen Finds
A Cool-Themed Exhibit To Boost Buzz
- Use the corridors to help guests and staff chill out.
After guests have traveled through the steaming jungles of prehistory, they can cool off by walking through the “Frozen Finds” exhibit that lines the wide corridor leading to the opposite side of the building. Use this layout to give guests a look at a frozen past before emerging near the gift shop, which should have a few interactive exhibits and plenty of decor to boost spending and educational prospects.

This layout also makes it easier to set up the required accessories to keep everything cold. A freezer is needed, otherwise the exhibits will thaw out and have to be sold at a steep loss. One freezer at each end of the corridor is sufficient. One of the largest frozen exhibits is a gigantic centipede, so it’s not all frozen cavemen and old appliances.

The Central Seance Room
A Scream Of A Centerpiece
- A fully immersive turn-of-the-century supernatural experience.
Wailon Lodge is the game’s supernatural-themed museum, and it’s as much about entertainment and spectacle as it is about education and profit. One of the best exhibits in this museum’s inventory is the “Seance Simulator,” and as the name implies, it’s an interactive display that mimics an 18th-Century seance.
The circular shape of the Seance Simulator means that the Curator has to put it in the center of a room, but this isn’t a disadvantage. The player can make this popular attraction the center point of the various smaller exhibits that include haunted portraits, a broken old-timey telephone, and a doll that always has its eyes on the museum’s visitors.
3
An Undersea Adventure
Focus On What Everyone Is Here For Anyway
- The adventure of exploring the mysteries of the deep.
Passwater Cove is the marine biology-themed museum, and it’s conveniently placed next to a waterfront. The concept of making the main aquarium the main attraction of the museum is a good way for beginners to start because the earliest Expeditions focus on this exhibit and allow the Curtaor to get off to a swimming start fairly quickly.

Two Point Museum: How To Complete Exhibits
Exhibits are essential to a successful museum. In Two Point Museum, players will need to know how to complete them in order to be successful.
The floorplan of this museum makes this layout feel more natural, as if the whole museum is split into two main sections. Dedicate one side to an oversized aquarium and the other to refreshments, interactive displays, and historical exhibits like statutes. It’s an easy, basic layout that’s great as both a tutorial for beginners and a relaxing project for experienced users.
2
Family Fun
Use Interactive Exhibits For The Kids
- Use interactive displays to increase Knowledge and Buzz return.
Museums have a reputation for being dull, quiet places where everyone has to stay silent and nobody is allowed to touch anything. However, in Two Point Museum, Curators are compelled to make their projects accessible for kids, at least if they want to be successful.
The interactive displays are intended for kids, but it’s common to see adult NPCs having some fun with them, too. The circular one is universal and can fit into the aesthetic of any museum theme, but others, like Seance Simulator and Prehistory Playground, obviously belong in specific locations.
1
Refreshments And Entertainment
Keep Guests And Staff Fat And Happy
- Without food and drink, workers will quit and visitors will leave without giving the museum a review.
Dedicating one section to relaxation and refreshments might seem like a small issue, but if the player provides only a scant few vending machines in their layout and crams them into a dark corner, both guests and staff will be unhappy. At least staff can access the table snacks in the staff room, but if guests get hungry or thirsty, they’ll leave and take their money elsewhere.
It’s better to use a generous section of the museum for food and drink, which includes late additions like the coffee kiosk. One idea is to put this adjacent to an entrance or kid’s play area to help organize traffic flow. Don’t forget to include plenty of seating and rubbish bins as part of this layout, because the health inspectors will be arriving sooner or later, and Curators can’t afford to lose that sweet State funding.
