There are plenty of materials for players to get their hands on to craft better items and equipment in Monster Hunter Wilds. These range from found everywhere around the game’s world to only being found in the most specific of places under certain circumstances. But all of them are worth having some kind of stockpile of because they all are useful in their own way. Because of this, however, there are some materials that players will need to figure out how and when they can get them, such as Monster Broth.
Despite sounding like the basis of a possible monster soup, Monster Broth is used to craft some really great equipment in the game. It’s a little tricky t get, though, because it isn’t really available until later in the game. As is the case with so many other materials in the game, there are certain quests that will give players Monster Broth as a reward, and this guide is here to not only show which quests will reward Monster Broth, but also what players can use to craft with Monster Broth.

Monster Hunter Wilds: Monster Broth Location
Monster Broth will become more readily available in some of the HR missions of the game, which will take the players some time to reach. Monster Broth will appear as a reward starting in 4-Star quests.
Here are all the quests that will reward Monster Broth:

- Vespoid Capriccio
- Flower of Eternal Rest
- Smithy’s Seal of Quality
- Fur Damagings Are Dislikeworthy
- Scorching the Earth Once More
- Sinister Sneer
- Dream Eaters
- The Nerscylla’s Hunting Grounds
- Thundering Flowers
- Opposition
- Astonishing Adaptability
- Investigating the Frenzied Shadow
Further, Monster Broth can be carved from hunting some high-rank monsters in the game as well:
- Lala Barina (18% chance of reward)
- Bulaqchi (30% from dropped materials)
- Vespoid (20% from dropped materials, 23% from carving)
- Nerscylla Hatchling (100% from carving)
- Comaqchi (30% from dropped materials)
Nespoids are going to be the easiest monsters in this list to hunt. They are small, insect-like monsters that can be taken out in just a couple of hits with the right weapons. While the odds of getting Monster Broth from dropped materials and carving isn’t as high as other options, their easiness to defeat means that reloading and going again is more time-efficient than going after other monsters.
Finally, Monster Broth can also be traded from Rove, who can be found in the Iceshard Cliffs region of the game. Players can sell him 1x Chaliceweed for 2x Monster Broth.
