Joked by many to be Genshin Impact‘s true Pyro Archon, the leader (and only member) of Benny’s adventure team has been one of Genshin’s best since launch. Being able to provide arguably the best buffs in the game, despite being a four-star, Bennett

is a character who can benefit any account.

Equipping your supports can be more difficult than the simple DPS check you can do for your hypercarries, though. For Bennett especially, his buff scales off of his base ATK, so he needs a sword with tons of ATK and a passive that helps his team deal more damage. With all of those conditions in mind, here are Bennett’s best weapons, ranked!

Festering Desire

Festering Desire

is one of Genshin Impact’s many time-limited event weapons, available only to those who were playing the game while the event was underway. The weapon has an Energy Recharge substat that helps Bennett keep his Energy up to Burst every rotation, but the passive is quite useless, save for some Burst DPS Bennett scenarios.

What makes this an amazing Bennett weapon is its high base ATK, a condition that all of Bennett’s best weapons have. This was one of the biggest ATK on any four-star weapon for the longest time. However, with swords like the Sapwood Blade released later on, the weapon has gone down in value, at least for Bennett.

Favonius Sword

The is perhaps the best weapon to put on any support that doesn’t need tons of stats to function. The ability to generate Energy Particles for your team lets you focus on gearing them up with only DPS in mind, helping in both sorting out your artifacts, and in practical DPS scenarios due to them Bursting more often.

On Bennett, it has its advantages, yes, but there are things it can’t do well. While the passive is extremely strong and the Energy Recharge substat helps you build Bennett, having only 454 ATK at max level means the buff Bennett provides will be comparatively lower, even when put against similar four-star weapons.

Blackcliff Longsword

The Blackcliff Longsword

is a fully F2P weapon available in the Starglitter Shop. Unlike gacha pulls, you won’t need Primogems and an absurd amount of luck to get it. Just saving up on those precious Starglitter can be enough to get anything from the Blackcliff series, provided they’re available in the shop.

Bennett’s buff scales off of raw base ATK, not anything else. This means the only factor affecting the buff is how much ATK you have on your weapon, with all ATK percent buffs and artifact roles being completely irrelevant.

The CRIT DMG substat helps Bennett deal a little more damage, and the passive helps further alleviate the DPS of the team, although barely. The reason this weapon is good for Bennett, like many others, is due to the high base ATK provided, as well as its property of being easy to get.

Alley Flash

The Alley Flash

is a four-star blade with an Elemental Mastery substat and a passive that increases character damage. Neither of these help Bennet even in the slightest, yet it’s arguably his best four-star option despite that fact.

The reason for that is simple. The one stat Bennett needs for his buff is something he cannot get from artifacts or any other way. His buff is increased only by his Base ATK and nothing else. Out of all the four-star options in the game, the Alley Flash has the highest ATK stat at 620, only a mere 50 ATK away from Aquila Favonia.

Sapwood Blade

One of Sumeru’s craftable weapons, the Sapwood Blade

serves as the best F2P support weapon in the entire game. While this is tied almost entirely to Dendro teams, getting that sweet 120 Elemental Mastery on your hypercarry can do wonders for your team’s DPS, and with it being completely free to get to refinement five, the Sapwood Blade ends up being one of the best investments you can make on any account.

On Bennett specifically, he can be a support to many reaction-based teams including traditional Spread and Aggravate teams, but also Ganyu Burnmet, Thundering Furry, and tons of other niche yet strong options as well. It also features a nice Energy Recharge substat and decent enough ATK, making it one of Bennett’s best weapons.

Aquila Favonia

The Aquila Favonia

has long been considered Bennett’s best weapon, being the first sword recommended to anyone attempting to build their Bennett. However, most people don’t know just why the Aquila Favonia is useful for him, so they overestimate the weapon.

The only reason the weapon works is its extremely high base ATK. The passive doesn’t synergize with him, it doesn’t fix his Energy Recharge needs, it doesn’t buff any allies, and even its substat doesn’t benefit Bennett. However, since Bennett’s ATK buff is based purely on his base ATK, having this ATK does mean the weapon is responsible for the highest Bennett buffs.

Absolution

Absolution

is Clorinde’s signature weapon, a sword fit for the strongest of hypercarries due to its high base ATK and the amount of CRIT DMG it provides. While Bennett, primarily being a support, can’t utilize all this weapon has to provide, the sword makes a great fit for our favorite adventurer for much the same reason as many other top weapons on the list.

Simply put, the weapon has the highest base ATK of any other sword in the game, tied with Mistsplitter and Aquila Favonia for the spot. While either of the three can function more or less the same way, Absolution’s CRIT DMG makes your Bennett deal just a bit more damage than an Aquila Favonia.

Mistsplitter Reforged

The Mistsplitter Reforged

is one of Genshin Impact’s best DPS weapons, being one of the best in-slot options for Ayaka, Alhaitham, and pretty much anyone else who can make use of its stats. However, despite not usually being played as a DPS, the Mistsplitter Reforged is one of the best weapons for Bennett.

The main reason for this is quite similar to others on the list: Mistsplitter Reforged gives Bennett the highest base ATK stat in the game. What puts it above the others is its passive, which further increases his damage by more than any other weapon. This combination of high ATK increasing his buffing capabilities and the passive increasing his own damage makes it a perfect fit for Bennett, so long as you don’t have any Energy Recharge issues.
