You can also find Araj in the third act of the game and if she took your blood sample in the previous Act, she’ll offer you another potion that makes your blood flammable. The items Araj sells are primarily geared towards spellcasters, but crafty players could potentially use these items with other classes, provided their party composition allows for it. From a respectable mid-game robe to a Risky Ring, here’s a list of the best items you can get from Araj Oblodra in Baldur’s Gate 3:

  • Potion of Everlasting Vigour

: This potion is by far the most important item you should get from Araj Oblodra as it grants a permanent +2 bonus to your strength stat. To acquire this potion, you’ll need to convince Astarion to bite Araj, which will earn you some disapproval from him, but in return your strength-based character can enjoy a permanent strength buff.

  • Risky Ring

: This rare grants its wearer advantage on attack rolls but disadvantage on saving throws. The Risky Ring is a situational ring, and it’s best avoided by concentration casters. Melee-based characters like fighters and barbarians can dish out serious damage with this ring equipped.

  • Ring of Free Action

: This ring grants you the effect of a level 4 spell,
    Freedom of Movement

, enabling you to freely traverse difficult terrain and become immune to paralyzed and restrained conditions.

  • Boots of Arcane Bolstering

: These rare boots grant its wearer the Arcane Charge condition for two turns after they dash. The Arcane Charge condition allows the wearer to deal an additional +2 bonus spell damage to threatened enemies. Paladins will benefit greatly by equipping these boots since their smites cost spell slots.

  • Robe of Exquisite Focus

: This is a decent mid-game robe for sorcerers and wizards, and it grants them +1 to spell save DC.

  • Thunderskin Cloak: Like the Risky Ring, this uncommon cloak is situation-based. When the wearer of the cloak receives damage from a reverberating creature, the wearer has a chance to daze their attackers. If your party includes a companion who can consistently inflict the reverberation condition on enemies, equipping your melee-based characters with the Thunderskin Cloak could be ideal.
  • Hat of Storm Scion’s Power

: Whenever the wearer of this hat deals thunder damage, they gain 10 turns of Arcane Acuity, which grants them a +1 bonus to their spell attack rolls and spell save DC. It’s worth noting that each time your character takes damage, they’ll lose two turns Arcane Acuity charges.

  • Mysterious Potion: In Act 3, Araj can be found in the lower city, running out of an exploding house. You can speak to her and accept to consume the Formula Gruna potion. Whoever consumes this potion receives the permanent unstable blood passive bonus, making their blood flammable.

Araj might become unavailable after consuming the mysterious potion in Act 3, so it’s best to purchase any desired items beforehand. If you’re short on gold, you can obtain her entire inventory by donating a backpack, transferring important items into it through the barter menu, and then knocking her out to loot the backpack along with all its contents. Killing Araj does not yield any valuable rewards.
