This guide will help players better understand the burglar NPC in The Sims 4 so they can properly handle the situation when they show up.

Sims can now open unique businesses built around their skills, interact with clients, and thrive in personalized entrepreneurial paths. The pack introduces fresh Create-A-Sim (CAS) items, perfect for showcasing the rather more casual and creative spirit with many fun and colorful clothing and accessories. Here’s everything new players will find when they are ready to design a new Sim.

CAS Items Full List

The Sims 4: Businesses & Hobbies introduces over 160 new CAS items, primarily designed for teen and older Sims, with a handful of additions for younger Sims in both clothing and accessories. One of the standout features of this pack is the extensive collection of pre-made tattoo designs, reflecting its

emphasis on the new tattoo parlors
and the Tattooing skill. These tattoos include options for unique placements, such as scalp and face tattoos, making this pack a dream for players who enjoy creating Sims with various distinctive tattoo styles.

Additionally, tattoos are now layerable, offering unprecedented customization options. A new Tattoo Paint Mode, reminiscent of features like the Pet Fur Paint Mode, allows players to design their own tattoos directly in-game, eliminating the need for custom content or mods. Players can also browse and download tattoos from the Gallery, making the possibilities for tattoo customization virtually limitless.

While tattoos take center stage in the CAS features, the pack also offers an array of clothing, hairstyles, and accessories

suited for other creative professions or hobbies
—especially pottery, which is introduced as a new skill in this expansion. The color palette leans towards vibrant, eye-catching hues, but there are also swatches catering to more muted, moody aesthetics for players seeking a different vibe. The overall style of the CAS collection skews towards artistic yet casual, making it versatile enough to fit seamlessly into a wide range of Sim styles. This is a refreshing contrast to packs centered around Occults like the

previous Life & Death expansion
, which often lean into more niche and specific aesthetics.

New Traits

  • Shady: These Sims excel at exploiting situations and bending rules for personal gain, often without regard for conventional ethics or fairness. They thrive in mischievous activities and can influence others to adopt their way of living.
