Wind Breaker Season 2 Release Date Has Been Confirmed

When Wind Breaker’s new season premieres on April 3, 2025, fans can expect to see all of their favorites back in action. The main voice cast will reprise their respective roles for the new season.

The new PV revealed one new cast member who will be joining the group for the second season. The new cast member is Junya Enoki, and he will voice Shingo Natori. Previously, the series confirmed the addition of Ryōta Ōsaka as Tasuku Tsubakino. The complete voice cast can be found below:

Toshifumi Akai is directing the anime, while Hiroshi Seko is handling the scripts. Taishi Kawakami is in charge of the character designs and Ryō Takahashi of music composition.

Wind Breaker began serialization on Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket website in January 2021. The manga has released 20 volumes so far and the reception has been decent. According to the latest data, Wind Breaker has sold more than 1.22 million copies. There is definitely room for improvement and, hopefully, the new season of the anime will bolster the sales further.

Wind Breaker follows the story of Haruka Sakura, an outcast who ends up with incredible fighting skills due to being mistreated by most people. After joining Furin High School, Haruka Sakura decides to become the best and make everyone else acknowledge his strength.
