The Monster Hunter Wilds endgame grind will keep you busy for a long time, especially if you’ve got your eyes on gathering a wardrobe full of armor pieces or want to max out several of its powerful Artian weapons. But the Capcom RPG’s ever-industrious community has already found a particularly potent way to grab dozens of high-level decorations and a wealth of Artian components in next to no time. It’s incredibly easy to do, and you can even pick up some additional armor spheres along the way.
I first encountered this new Monster Hunter Wilds farm courtesy of Reddit user ‘LeBahz,’ who noted that they’d been using a method to reliably gather one particularly rare plant, the Ephemeral Blossom. This drops Nightflower Pollen, which can be traded for gold melding tickets or Hard Armor Spheres by speaking to Sekka (who you can access through Nata in camp once you are far enough through the high rank Monster Hunter Wilds quests). These golden tickets are one of the most powerful items in the RPG, as they can be used to meld a lot of decorations very quickly.

While a very strong farming method, there was one problem – it required you to spend a lot of research points to cycle your environment through to the full moon, when the Nightflower plants bloom. Fortunately, YouTuber ‘Syrobe’ has since discovered a much faster trick. By simply quitting the game and entering a fresh lobby, your game consistently begins at the start of the weekly cycle, which happens to be set to a full moon. You might not see this if your game is currently daytime, but you can use a quest to fix that.
Once you’re in a new lobby, head straight to Alma and begin the four-star optional quest ‘The Desert Knows Not The Sea’ (a hunt for a Balahara). This begins in the evening, and will turn to night after you have been in the quest for just one minute. Start at Plains pop-up camp three, get on your Seikret next to the tent, and leap off it to clamber up to the ledge above, where you’ll find your first blossoming Nightflower. Then travel to camp ten and move towards the nearby exit to the Scarlet Forest in the corner of the map – you’ll see another flower close to the path out of the Plains.
With both collected, simply return from the quest. You can keep repeating the process as long as the full moon lasts – if it goes away, just quit the game and enter a new lobby to reset it to the start of the cycle again. Once you’ve gathered enough pollen, take it to Nata and check Sekka’s trade menu to see if you can turn one in for a gold melding ticket. It’s important to note that there are two ticket types – one for decorations and one for Artian parts – so make sure you’re trading for the one you want.
You’ll have to rest after each trade to refresh Sekka’s inventory, and you won’t always be offered golden tickets. If you’re not in a rush to spend all your pollen, however, you could always just play the game normally and trade it in gradually over time. Once you’ve got your tickets, head to the melder in Suja to cash them in – I’d recommend spending them on the Ancient Orbs that can roll the rarest 3-slot split decorations, but you can also use them to craft specific decorations en masse if your hunter rank is high enough.
It’s perhaps not as exciting as going toe-to-toe with tempered monsters, but I’ve always really enjoyed this kind of clever min-maxing, and it should come as no surprise that the Monster Hunter community is quick to uncover such tricks. With all those new decorations in your pocket, putting together the best Monster Hunter Wilds builds will be a breeze.
