Manaphy is an unusual legendary Pokemon with a gorgeous collection of cards in the Pokemon TCG’s vast archives. Mythical and Legendary Pokemon like Mewtwo boast plenty of valuable cards. Manaphy follows in its footsteps with some of its most expensive offerings hailing from sets in XY to the best sets in the Sword & Shield era.

There’s more than just the Moonbreon to chase in this iconic Pokemon TCG set.
From its appearance in BREAKpoint to some special promo releases, the best Manaphy cards offer a collection of beautiful artwork to collect of this sweet, blue mythical Pokemon. While there aren’t any expensive $100 Manaphy cards lurking in the shadows, this solid group of cards has plenty to offer at relatively affordable prices.
Cards are ordered according to their TCGPlayer Market Price, which represents what you might pay on average for a copy of the cards below.
Given the age and rarity of certain cards, only those with an established market price on TCGplayer are included.
However, sale prices differ depending on the card’s condition, so this market price is just a rough idea of the card’s value.
Updated March 7, 2025, by Andrew Scariati: The Pokemon TCG market has been trending ever-upward, along with the hype of expensive modern sets like Prismatic Evolutions. Even Pokemon like Manaphy are seeing upticks in the prices of their cards, as the Pokemon hype sends prices up nearly across the board.

Manaphy: Crown Zenith (Galarian Gallery) – $3.41
Surrounded By Friends
Crown Zenith’s popularity is unquestionable, with fantastic Galarian Gallery cards like this Manaphy providing us with glimpses into the daily lives of some of our favorite Pokemon.
Certain detailed scenes like Manaphy’s also serve a secondary purpose as a fun game to find all the Pokemon in the background – some of them are sneaky inclusions.
This Manaphy, like many of the most valuable cards from Crown Zenith, has experienced massive rises and falls throughout 2023 and 2024, as the reprint of Crown Zenith sent prices tumbling before high demand fueled a rebound. While this card once approached the six-dollar mark in near-mint (NM) condition, it’s a far cry from returning to its former highs, with time as its greatest ally.

Manaphy: Unleashed (Holo Rare) – $3.45
Quirky & Confused
This Manaphy hails from Unleashed – the second set released during the HeartGold & SoulSilver era. Even without a Japanese equivalent, this English Manaphy shines with its curious and surprised expression that reflects this card’s unusual price chart.
Manaphy jumped onto the scene when it surged from around $3.30 to almost $4.00, but unfortunately, it lost some momentum and stopped at the current market price. While the up-and-down bounces are likely to continue, this card is likely to break its previous highs as time passes.

Manaphy: Majestic Dawn (Holo Rare) – $5.11
A Brighter Glimmering Scene
The best Diamond & Pearl era sets feature a distinct style that incorporates holo blotch-rich cosmos patterns that greatly enhance cards like Manaphy’s. This style is seen on some of the most valuable cards from D&P, with several Lv. X cards boasting the iconic holo pattern.
While this card offers a buffet of visual excellence, the price is modest, with NM sales at $8.38 and $6.66 helping to set the TCGplayer Market Price. However, LP sales are far more common, with sales at $3.83 and below. However, condition isn’t as important for this card as it is for others, as once you drop below NM, every condition sells for similar amounts.

Manaphy Ex: BREAKpoint (Full Art) – $7.19
Looking Toward A Brighter Future
Manaphy makes a surprise appearance in BREAKpoint, though it’s not what you might expect when you think of the BREAK sets.
BREAKpoint is often forgotten, as it was one of the least successful experiments in the Pokemon TCG, as both BREAKpoint and BREAKthrough lost momentum over time as newer, more conventional artwork stole any hope these sets had of being popular, groundbreaking innovations.
That being said, BREAK cards weren’t the only available offerings, as fantastic full-arts like this one continue to gain value over time. Manaphy boasts sales above the five-dollar plateau in NM condition, with lightly played (LP) copies dropping to $3.39 and below, followed by moderately played (MP), which fetch about $2.50.

Manaphy: Diamond & Pearl (Holo Rare) – $7.85
A Sign Of What’s To Come
Manaphy makes a mark on the Diamond & Pearl era, with a pair of gorgeous cards boasting top-tier holo patterns to admire. Even if you’re not a fan of Manaphy, it’s impossible to ignore the celestial beauty that cosmos holo patterns bring to the table, particularly with this card.

Pokemon TCG: The 12 Most Valuable Cards In Team Up
There are plenty of amazing Team Up alternate arts to go along with the iconic Latias & Latios GX.
This card’s reverse holo version is much cheaper and doesn’t have as many data points to reference.
NM copies of this card carry a noticeable premium, supported by sales around ten dollars with LP copies offering a fair discount.
Smiling Under The Sea
Despite this card’s relatively low cost, it commands respect as one of the most valuable Manaphy cards of all time. The central Manaphy is joined by its peers as well as a school of Luvdisc swimming along the rocky sea floor.
This card originally entered the double digits with an NM sale above the $11 mark, though subsequent NM cards dropped to $9.57 and $8.00, leaving several questions unanswered. However, since those sales, the card has continued to move upward, eventually settling much higher at the current market price.
Celebrating Pokemon Movie History
This Japanese-exclusive promo card celebrates the release of the tenth Pokemon movie, The Rise of Darkrai, and belongs to a special commemorative set. Given its exclusivity to Japan, it’s a difficult card to find if you try to find it at local shops in North America and Europe.
This set only included legendary and mythical Pokemon like Manaphy, Mewtwo, Entei, Lugia, and more.
TCGplayer doesn’t have many sales on record, though there are several listings ranging from seven dollars to over $60. An LP copy also sold for $19.96 in July 2024, with several NM sales confirming the current market price. Considering the available listings and this card’s rarity, the price will likely continue to shift.
